Brook Universal Fighting Board Thread

If there is, the difference is so small you will never notice.

Aaron from All Fight Sticks whips up some nice solid all steel cases and builds with about 27 different possible layouts. If you or anyone needs a quality steel body hitbox/fightstick done, you can contact him at his Facebook page. Just send him a message and he’s pretty prompt with replies. You’ll get a reply by the next business day at the latest. Cheers!

I am working on the Panzer 3 HITBOX PCB layout as we speak. I should have some after the new year.

He probably didn’t have the latest firmware on his UFB.

so we good with the lastest PS4 update?

@LLLLLFiVEL5L
On V4.06, UFB is working well w/o updated file.

V4.07 released

Do you need a button wired to TP to ā€œemulateā€ the three TP zones or are there button combos for those yet?

Every thing works fine with PS4 V4.07!
Enjoy it~

@Brook_Engineer so the brookboard been out for awhile what is J2 about on the board?

@gehena
None …

I’ve had similar issues in other games and it was because there was a stuck button. In Tekken Tag 2, I couldn’t rotate the camera because my pcb was busted and had the R3 button constantly active. Maybe you can check your R3/RS wiring.

It was gonna be for touchpad from what I heard, but never happened… but it doesn’t really matter for most.

ā€œ@GOGO.Zippyā€, @Brook_Engineer why not wire up J2 for something like changing SOCD modes? Do you have a plan for J2? I think most people want toggleable asynchronous SOCD switch because you can do move cancels on hitbox that would not be possible.

Newbie here. I have two custom control panels I had made for my candies. They don’t have enough buttons to map dedicated Share, Home and Start buttons for PS4. Is there any way on the Brooks Universal PCB to make it so you can press Share and Start together to simulate the home button? I’m pretty sure this can be done on the PS360+. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

i’m sorry to tell, no

it’s a good idea, we will talk about it

Hello I have a quick question regarding the Brook universal fighting board:

I want to modify my MvC3 Fightstick so that it is able to play on XB1 & PS4 because of the new Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, but I wanted to make sure this board would work for my fightstick.

I want to keep everything as stock as possible (without cutting all wires & such) so I would like to know if Jasen’s EZ mod board is also compatible with Mad Cats TE Fightsticks?

Here is a link to the boards below. Please let me know if you have any info/expertise on this subject.

Thank You

Danny

The EZ MOD Kits are designed for the following sticks:

VLX (PS4 versions)
MCZ TE2
MCZ TE2+
