Brook UFB on windows. Having a small(?) issue

I’ve built a fightstick about a month ago. For the duration of its completion, whenever I plug it into my PC, it makes the connection noise, and the disconnection noise immediately after. But even so, it still functions normally. I have every button except for the home button, but I doubt it’s presence would make a difference. I tested my stick on my switch and it seemed to work fine. How should I resolve this issue? I don’t have a PS4, so I can’t test it on there so please give me advice.

Do you use the default settings for the Brook UFB on PC ? Which is XBOX One mode.

You should force it to Xbox 360 mode, by pressing 3P button before plugging the USB cord onto your PC.

FYI, to force the mode you need to press these buttons before plugging the USB:

  • 1P = PS3 mode
  • 2P = PS4 mode
  • 3P = Xbox 360 mode
  • 4P = Xbox One mode
  • 1K = Switch mode

Your connection-and-disconnection-audio-cue description is precisely how it’s supposed to behave if you don’t force a specific mode by keeping a certain button pressed during connection. It auto-detects which mode it’s supposed to use…
