Has anyone opened their Brook Mars up to see what is inside it? If anyone has can they link me to images/video?
I really like how responsive the controller is. It can keep up with a Dual Shock 4 on my PS4, and is way faster then my Hori Fight Commander, but the form is kinda lacking.
I prefer small controllers myself, and am curious if the Brook Mars PCB would be small enough to get working in an 8Bitdo NES30 Pro.
I’m figuring I could run the wire through the USB port hole.
I don’t really know of anyone to @ for faster answers, so if anyone reading this knows someone they think might have the answer please do me a favor and @ them. Thanks!
@CyanPrime Foot print means basically size. Your footprint is larger than your baby’s foot print. The size of your feet. It’s a commonly used term in electronics, etc
I don’t think the external size matters much as long as the PCB itself is small, so that’s why I was asking if anyone has opened one up to see how big the PCB is.
In something like a Controller PCB, the footprint and layout is everything. Just because it’s small does not mean it will fit
And even if it does, it does not mean your contacts can line up with the button holes.
