Please download the latest firmware of Wingman-SD to try

@Smang your mean is SEGA Saturn original controller or SEGA Saturn USB wired controller for PS2?

or beta version : https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ak3gTbIHOlrmjgR6cZN2OakanZhr

Hi, I have a Brook PS2 to Xbox One Super Converter, and I was wondering how to disable the turbo function? I can’t find any firmware on your site for this particular adapter, or any instructions covering this. Aside from accidental activation of the turbo (which is getting a little frustrating!) IIRC tournament rules would require it to be disabled.

Hopefully @Brook_Engineer or @GOGO.Zippy can help?

Just curious if anyone has had a chance to try the Brook Universal PCB with the new Xbox Series X/S and the PS5?

Is it tested and working with the current firmware with the backwards compatible games? Not sure if there are any native X/S or PS5 fighting games to test out yet either, but if so, does it work fine?

Thanks

I have a brook wireless fighting board and the board works as intended on ps5.
Also @jonyfraze has a awesome video up on his yt channel testing all the Brook boards with the ps5. Hope that helps I haven’t heard anything on xbox though.

Hello everyone,

I bought the Brook Xbox 360 to Xbox One super converter. Great product. But I use it with with an official wireless Xbox 360 controller and a wireless gaming Receiver for Microsoft Xbox 360 controller. The wireless gaming Receiver for Microsoft Xbox 360 controller is a Microsoft original one like this one (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/08/Xbox_360_Wireless_Receiver.png).

I I followed the same manipulation as on this video (but with a brook xbox 360 > xbox 1 and a xbox 1 instead of a PS4) : Brook Xbox 360 to PS4 converter with Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver For Windows - YouTube

All the commands of the xbox 360 controller are well recognized by my xbox one but the controller disconnects very quickly and I have to unplug the super converter and plug it again to be able to reconnect the controller which disconnects immediately after a few seconds (test with several controllers and same disconnection problem, same disconnection problem on a PC). On a PC the controllers do not disconnect if I use the original Microsoft wireless adapter without connecting it to the brook super converter. Too bad because with an original microsoft adapter, wireless 360 controllers seem to works well but are unusable because of the disconnections.

I performed the firmware update of the brook super converter (actual firmware 20191220). And my xbox one is up to date. I read (unfortunately too late) on forums that users with the same adapter said to not update the adapter firmware when used with wireless controllers because the latest firmware made wireless connections unstable.

So my question is it possible to downgrade the firmware version to an older version? It seems like firmware versions before 2017 were very stable with wireless connections. As old versions of the firmware are not available on the brook site, is it possible for anyone to send me a version of a firmware older than 2017 with the explanations to proceed with the downgrade? You will find attached a picture of the back of my Brook Xbox 360 to Xbox One super converter (to let you know the version).

Or do you have any suggestions (other than downgrading the firmware) to avoid these permanent disconnections?

I asked brook support for help but unfortunately, they couldn’t help me.

As I have several wireless xbox 360 controller and 2 xbox 360 wireless speed wheel (that bothers me not being able to use and having to buy these controllers for xbox 1) I still looking (and hope) for a solution.

Many thanks for your help!

Hello i just got a ps3/ps3 Switch adapter and was trying to update it but I’m getting connection errors on both my pc laptop and a friends mac and the adapter now used to light up and not detect my fighstick but the ps4 controller works now it wont light up and non of them works any help will be appreciated thanks!
@GOGO.Zippy

When trying to update the firmware on my PS3/PS4 to PS2 converter, it failed, I got the error message “A connection with the server could not be established”, also the error message “failed to load .\tmpa.hex”, and now the LED on my converter won’t turn on at all. It doesn’t work anymore. I tried testing it on PS2 with my DS4, and One of the things that was suggested on other converters was to downgrade the firmware but I can’t find the downloads for the old firmware versions.

Samething happened to me but with my ps3/ps4 to switch if i find out how to get older versions ill let you know currently going through every single support thing i can find

Which fight stick do you use with Brook converter? Please give more information to help or write a RMA form on the BROOK Website https://www.brookaccessory.com/rma/rma_form_global.php

Its a qanba drone and i did file an RMA Yesterday i belive the issue has to do with the update tool and not being able to connect to server is there a way to install an older version on the adapter rather than the newest one?

The Stick did work but it kept disconnecting after around 5ish minutes of use

I just got a PS4 to Switch converter. It was able to connect a PS4 pad but not a Hori Stick. I tried updating the firmware on my Mac and got a network error. Tried on a PC laptop and got LDROM error. Now the Converter does not light up and nothing connects. How is this problem solved?

I just got the RMA email they are having issues with there servers they told me to wait until they are resolved and then use the update tool right now there update servers are down
Same thing happen to me this morning so wait till servers are back up and update that will alow the adapter to funcion again

I can’t get the adapter to light up anymore.

Is there a reliable place to find out that the servers are UP or DOWN?

Both my converters work again now that the server is back up and I finished updating them. So that’s good. Also I figured out how to use the feature that makes the converter enter digital mode even on PS2 games that force analog mode. (press the home button twice about one second apart)

Really the only feature needed left (this is a feature for tournaments) would be a way to make it so that the converter can’t be turned back to analog mode by the player. Maybe after forcing digital mode using a DS3 or DS4, pressing the brook key 3 times quickly? then you can disable the lock by pressing the brook key 3 more times. Some scenes might also have an issue with turbo and want it so players can’t enable turbo. Rn we’d still have to check for the lightbar on a DS4 changing color if someone presses the home key thus turning the converter back to analog mode. (the problem with analog mode for Fate/UC is that left plus right by doing left on the left analog and right on dpad or vice versa blocks on both sides, digital mode prevents this)

hi I decided to update my xone to ps4 converter earlier as the servers were down and now my converter registers as hid transfer on my pc and it wont work on my ps4 pls help
the updater tells me detected ldrom and VIDPID not found
