Broken Cable - Hori EX-SE

So I was playing with the arcade stick (HORI real arcade pro EX-SE) and all of a sudden it disconnected from the xbox saying disconnected controller. I couldn’t tell why but when I moved the sticks cable connecting it to the xbox it would suddenly work and sync up again if it is in one particular position. This convince me that the cable running from my stick to the console is broken.

I was just wondering if it is possible to repair or replace the cable and how. My stick is completely stock atm.

P.S. Its located before the little extension part for the xbox360 on the cable.

Where did you get the cable from? Im guessing that is what you mean when you said you sold one?
