Navid, man, you are not like this in real life… and beating Tao in one 3s tourney at JZees… It was a LONG time ago!!! I challenge you do to it again, because every time I beat Tao, he comes back very intensely, adapts quickly and usually wins the next time. It’s a see-saw thing where one guy forces the other to get better.
I could easily claim to be better than you at Third Strike utilizing your brand of reasoning, by saying that by being able to (remember casual is more important in your logic) beat your Makoto with Necro (very tough for Necro in your words)… or in the same case in CVS2, you use team BAS, best team in the game, and I can beat you using C-Zangief/Dhalsim/Balrog, definitely one of the worst teams in the game if the ‘council of SRK nerds’ determines it to be so??? I clearly must be the better player.

no one plays sf3 except this whtie guy who uses saII ken. If i took the relentless approach Archer advocates, I kinda feel bad for him since it’s not that fun destroying a newbie. And whenever i play the computer no one even bothers to watch me play let alone challenge so I don’t bother. But i still play a game or two occaisonally.

there’s this tall chinese dood, he’s pretty skinny with glasses and he uses Ken
and then there’s these two white doods… who use hugo, ken, and like a buncha other guys
and they kinda mash buttons but they’re not that bad!!!
i suggest that we should have “road” games where we travel to another arcade within the season (not just in the playoffs) to play guys from rival divisions. that way, everyone in the league will get to play everyone at least once. if only the top 3 or 4 get to go to the other “homecourts,” then there’s not much of a reason 'cuz we all play at our respective arcades all the time anyways.

and we went to this one video game rental place in richmond, that had a marvel cabinet in the store… and we asked some guy shopping there (he was a regular) if there was anyone good who played… and he said the manager was hella good, and we weren’t worth this time. like he was utterly insulted by the fact that we wanted to try this guy out (i was really young looking)… so being my usual cocky self, i tried to ask in a REALLY POLITE and HUMBLE way… and out comes the manager, he’s a medium in height, slightly overweight chinese dood, who was pretty friendly and played me. and he picked spiral
so then i go and beat the POO POO out of him… and the guy who said we weren’t worth his time had this silent but distraught expression. i remember how good it felt… and how nice the manager was and how i had hoped we had made a new friend. well i’ve never seen him again. if he played, i think he woulda been all right… but none back then could challenge the glorious might of the one they call Ass To Mouth
i must be going at the wrong times then. I don’t have school on thursdays and tuesdays i only have a class at 1 so naturally i get to school just before then. I sometimes stop by at 2 but by then it’s only the white ken player just playing the computer. I’ll check it out tomorrow though since I’ll be there at lunch time.
we play a season to determine who the best 2 are in each division
then you setup brackets 4 people on left side, and 4 on other side.
but with the people from the same division are on opposite sides so the same division doesnt have to play each other in the 8 man tournyment until maybe the finals.
and maybe take the seed 3 and 4 from the 4 divisions. and make another 8 player bracket tournyment, setup the same way.
and possibly a seed 5 and 6 and so on until there arent enough players to play.
then you could have your tiers, not for determining who the best in bc is. but to give people goals to setup. regardless if some people arent participating, you will still have people who you hope to beat or hope to see yourself place 4th next season so you can be a part of the tier 2 tournyment instead of the tier 3 tournyment if you were 5th last time for example.
