ranking was available to increase the level of intensity in matches. looking at it logically im sure we can all agree that we much rather buy a movie that said “street fighter tournament matches” then…“causual matches for fun…that you see everyday”
aside from that point…ranking in the end isnt that big of a deal. and im sure if it was a big deal…and archer u were fucking in the ranking…u would be the only one breaking the honour system. That’s the biggest load of bullshit ever.
I’ll fucking teach any of you the game if you ask me to. I’ll teach you more than you can learn from playing, and I will physically come anywhere and sit down with you and explain to you strategy. Trust me, I am able to teach you more than Keni or Tariq can from playing against them. I will be able to teach you tricks and shit that work. Original shit that you will never miss.
I can turn a newbie to a pro in a matter of weeks if we both have the time. Why do you think I get good at games so quickly? I sit down and talk to the people who are already good at the game, and I learn the mentality the game takes to play it. I learn the tricks by TALKING to them, then i practice the tricks.
If you are willing to commit yourself to not button mashing, or not doing stupid ass shit, and learning the tricks and strategies I’m willing to teach, then that’ll do you a whole lot fucking more than playing your hardest against players who are a shitload better than you and already have read up, or have heard about all these strategies from other people.
How do you think you will progress if you’re not taught what to do? A lot of you don’t take advice. I know for a fact some people i’ve tried to teach new tricks to, give up on them when they cant do it the first few times. It’s a good trick/combo, but if you give up on it, then fuck, i’m not going to help you anymore.
That’s how i got good at 3s. I played with alvin tons of times, and each time he would tell me to be more patient, but he wouldnt just say “PATIENCE” like fucking Tariq does… he would tell me what to wait for, and how to make the guy come to you. From there, you can develop your own style of play.
This game is deep, and if you think just by playing good players you’ll get better, you’re damn wrong.
You people obviously think i’m out to hurt the scene, when in reality i’m just trying to keep it from being fucked up by the likes of keni, who want to be known. Why else would he make a ranking system with a ton of new players in the mix? Why not train the new players to become good first, then implement the ranking?
I expect none of you guys to see it my way, ofcourse not, why would you even try? You’ve all already hopped into the mentality of hating me. I dont give a fuck, remain shitty. Players like Ryan, who I’ve actually known for a while, and Talk to regularly on MSN or whatever, are the types of players I hate seeing being sucked into this ranking bullshit. He’s only been playing the game and has gotten a feel for the basics. Nobody has ever sat down to teach him the indepth strategies and stuff, or else he could be really good by now. I’m don’t mean to pick on you Ryan, you’re not the only player like this. I’m willing to sit down for hours and hours teaching character specific strategies, if you just fucking ask.
