Back by popular demand Tim and I are bringing back our bi-weekly tournaments at our restaurant every other sunday. Tim and I care about the community and we feel we can’t let sacramento become a ghost town when it comes to gaming. STREET FIGHTER 4 TOURNY!

Where:
Moby’s FISH & CHIPS
9123 Kiefer Blvd #A Sacramento CA 95826

It’s in the Rosemont shopping plaza next to rite aid and savemart.

About our venue: We will have 3-4 setups ALL on ps3 systems. We also will be open that day for the gamers to purchase food/drinks off our menu and will have 2 specials for each tournament. (specials will change upon request we usually have GREAT korean style food and or japanese) It’s very spacious and people can sit and eat, watch, play very comfortably.

Games: mvc 2, 3rd strike, sf4, cvs 2

When: March 7,2010 This Sunday

Time: Whatever is comfortable for the players to come. We will open our doors at 12 a.m anybody participating in the tournment can come relax eat play casuals MM chill and wait for the others to arrive. But usually we start around 1:30-2 pm, we usually wait till all the laggers show up (you know who you are). Sign ups are from 12 a.m to 2 pm ( We will wait for those that are coming late or if you call in we will go ahead and put you on the bracket)

Rules:

  • Double elimination
    -All characters
    -Grand finals 3 out of 5 matches everything else will be 2 out of 3.
    -Winner must stick with their character/ loser can have the option to switch
    -$5 entry fee
    -70/20/10 Payout
    -Bring your own sticks (if you do not have one many people including myself will be more than glad to loan you one)

WE WILL BE MOVING TO ANOTHER LOCATION AND BETTER LOCATION IN THE NEAR FUTURE. WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE COMMUNITY AND FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT. LETS MAKE THIS A HUGE TURNOUT.

Ya of course. We had to do it I saw the drama you guys we’re getting into. Tim and I are all about the community and thats it.

I fully endorse this tournament and it’s organizers. This is always a sick place to go, the food is great, and it’s got alot of talented players that go there!

The tournament organizers used the $2 venue fee to pay for the NCR 2009 entry for Masarap, Eric Choi, and 200 yen. They are legit and the money goes straight to where they say it does. There is no hidden or secret business around here.

YA sorry guys it’s gonna be Feb 7th instead of 31st. Too many people are gonna go to the strong style tourny i don’t want a weak turn out so it’s best to move it back a week.

Is there any possibility for CvS2 being a tourney game? I’d be willing to run that one and get the word out.
Also…Super Bowl weekend…hmmmmmmmm…while I’d like for these great tournaments to start up soon, it seems like a lot is going on over the next 2 weekends…
