c.H is armored (shoulder rush) and 6H command normal is also armored, probably the air version too.
Pretty sure his s.:s: can be pushblocked. Chun li looks like she does it at around 50 seconds in:

alright, I just heard that it couldn’t somewhere (Stream?)
Also going to NYCC I am going to test out this beast for myself! I’ll try to get the most info on him as I can.
Any Nemmy fans still around that want me to test out anything I my forget on him? Because i’m pretty much going to be testing everything he’s got,
Check to see if he can combo off of his air throws by himself in the corner.
and of course if his lvl 3 hits people in the air too.
Thanks. : P
Right his level 3 in the air I am going to make sure of that one that one’s been bugging me for awhile.
Test his assists for super armor, as well as other moves I guess. Also, try using Wall Destroyer > air command grab after they tech and see if it gets you anywhere.
If I can i’ll make a video of all of Nemesis’ moves and properties i’m pretty good at video editing myself. Though from stream it really looks like his level 3 does not touch air :/. I think his assists have 1 hit of super armor but we’ll find out.
so basically the only way you’re ever going to land his lv 3 is if your opponent is doing some slow move on the ground and you happen to punish it. Great.
It’s not so bad, Nemesis managed to land it a couple times in the Iplaywinner stream and without the opponent whiffing he just dashed up to cap and did it and was near instant, plus the damage seems really worth it considering it took down a 50% Cap.Am it looked like.
looks like its fast enough that if they’re ducking, it gets them.
Not counting that one xf reversal those were the Nem lvl 3 hits I saw.
Yeah seriously, so much for “Wahhh that thing is never gonna hit anybody with half a brain” Granted it’s not like the game is even out yet so they might as well only have half a brain. : P We’ll see in a month.
I’m going to bet those people who got hit by it weren’t holding up. I mean, unless it’s been sped up a little, it’s clearly not instant if it can get stuffed by crouching lows.
It was, however, very nice to see people using his assists well. Those Vergil + Nemesis combos were sexy. I just kind of wish people realised that Nemesis has wall bounce combos on his own instead of just abc launch abc rocket hyper.
I’m thinking a single OTG assisted Nemesis extended combo will be 100% since all of his BnBs pretty much do 70% anyways, so i’m thinking of putting G.Rider on my team or someone with an OTG assist
Wesker.
Samurai Edge unblockables + solid otg = Why not?
Make people fear the unblockable and the command throw so you scoop them out of the air all day.
I’d rock GR if heartless spire hit low, but it does have a huge hitbox.
Still I think the characters are like opposites as far as the assist they would need, GR would need something to stop them from getting in while nemesis needs something to help him get in, so I personally wouldn’t pair the two to begin with.
I wonder how free Nemesis’ reset game is with his AA command throw. : S
I’m bound to discover that air throw reset in a week WOOT (hyped clearly,) I’m thinking XFC out of Wall Destroyer’s last hit is an easy reset, or after a wall bounce to end a combo or so.
Thing is this is a personal thing for me, for i may drop Wesker from my main team even though he seems perfect for Nemesis (which may turn around my thinking) due to me kind of getting bored of playing Wesker. I have thought about Wesker’s OTG assist (The most simple and effective OTG assist in the game IMO) and it would work really well no doubt but i’m saying G.rider simply because I like to keep my team balenced Point is a Rushdown character (Wesker) 2nd is a Zoner (Dormmamu) 3rd is a damage brawler/assist slot (Sentinel). It might become Strider/???/Nemesis so i’m still trying to figure it out. Though top contenders for the 2nd spot are Dormmamu, Strange, G.Rider and Wesker…again.
Doesn’t G.Rider have a hellfire OTG assist? that should hit low does it not? Actually i’m thinking after ending an air series use a Dark hole Dormmamu assist and then OTG with Nemesis’ j. Rocket then Nemesis can follow up hopefully.
Yes he does, but
I’m pretty sure it’s like stone smite in the sense that it hits OTG, but it doesn’t hit low.
It’s angled DOWN how the HELL does that not hit low?! WTFH UHGIUREHGIUEHSIU FHISUEHGUISHIEFHSIEHGIHSEIDNAWOHUOSHE OHOUSEHGOUSHEGU. But hell j.H + Wesker OTG is a really huge hitbox for an unblockable mixup, I like that idea.
Atm i’m compiling a what-to-test at NYCC list, expect to see SOME kind of fancy Nemesis combo I can think of in 99 Marvel seconds, i’ll implement his specials which allot of players seem to be lacking
Definately check to see if his lv 3 is 1 frame. Looking over those videos again, it actually does seem faster than it was before. Have someone stand still while you perform the superflash, then hold up at the last moment.
As for combos, definately make sure to use his shoulder charge, RL slams and haymakers in combos. He has a wall bounce and a ground bounce (assist style RL slam) which should allow him to extend his combos. Also, try some wesker style 2a tap throw resets in the corner.
Thing is RL slam groundbounce style works as an assist but it’s REALLY slow I think only the longest of hit stuns will allow it to go through, so i have an idea to do a ground bounce after a wall bounce…oooh fancy. I’ll try for those air throw resets as well.
