But it can be armor broken, so if you have one, it just comes down to predicting it. I’ve done it against numerous abel users with Sagat. You can armor break it, or, if they’re doing it on wake-up to go through a fireball, I’ve shot a HK tiger shot, then as they come near pop a DP for the second hit.
There’s ways around it, you just have to find it with your particular character, IMO.

Those aren’t the only examples in those matches.
You can always say “Oh just don’t do this.” My point with the ducking example for Dudley is that duck straight is the armor break, but Duds fist goes right over him during ultra. EX MGB is fast and multi hit, first hit gets parried. You can’t just argue, “Don’t throw it out there” You could say that shit about any match.
But you’re talking about stuff that isn’t even necessary.
I use Dudley. I NEVER just throw out MGB. Never. It serves zero purpose. As for Ducking… again… against Abel, it serves zero purpose. It’s not like you need to armor break Abel.

Ok so I finally got off my lazy ass and did some recording. I dont know how many of these situations you can land Breathless by charging it a while before releasing. I forgot to record Ryu using his corner escape style Hurricane kick and his fireball.
