Breaking Bad

Don’t post scenes from the next episode here.
We all go out of our way to avoid it.

walt just doesn’t give a fuck anymore. how long before jesse offs himself? poor hank. i thought marie would be more despondent but she seemed “okay” while skylar was on the phone with walt. is she just holding out hope it’s not true?

Holy shit, Walt evolved into his PERFECT FORM in this ep.

[details=Spoiler]

  1. Enjoy your minerals in hell, Hank. This scrub was lucky Walt had a soft spot for him cuz he was no where near good enough to win this battle.

  2. I damn near came when Walt brought up Jane. It would have been better if Jesse got shot right after, but I’ll take it. Actually, he’s boned even worse now. He totally deserves it after all his fuck ups. So sweet that Walt finally cut ties with him.

  3. Freaking Flynn. All his scenes were painful to watch, and not in the good way.

  4. Glad Walt finally told off Skylar. Stupid, ungrateful bitch. Taking Holly was cold blooded though. Even I didn’t see that coming.[/details]

Most shows would hold back, give the main character break-after-break, and somehow have them make it out whatever situation with their lives unscathed. Even The Sopranos and The Shield don’t follow through on their end of things.

But BB? Nope, they throw the main character’s ass in the fire and barely survive with 1st degree burns.

Spoiler

Walt is fucked, his life is fucked, and the only thing he can do is take the Lelouch approach to spare what’s left of people he loves. Jesse is a meth-making Kunta Kinte in Todd’s dungeon, Hank and Gomie are now fertilizer for desert soil, and no one but Saul will probably be standing after all of this is over.

I didn’t quite understand…[details=Spoiler]why did the aryans take Walt’s fortune but leave him 1 barrel (approx 10million)? Don’t they realise that Walt can hire all sorts of assassins to murder them? Is this plot-induced stupidity? Bad writing? [/details]

Oh, man.

Spoiler

Didn’t see Hank’s death coming. He had a pretty cool death scene, though. Can’t wait for Marie’s reaction next episode. Does this make me a bad person?

[details=Spoiler]Todd likes Walt and probably bargained for that. Otherwise, just like you said, it doesn’t make much sense.
But hell, we know he loses that money somehow. He looked real shitty in 501/509.[/details]

[spoiler=]Now we know who that arsenal is for: Walt vs Aryans: Fate of two evils!..I wonder if Walt will save Jesse or kill him.[/spoiler]

Spoiler

I don’t think it’s just Todd, his uncle has enough respect for Walt to leave him something, “take care” of Jesse as promised, and leave on “decent” terms in case they need him for the blue meth ever again. I also don’t think the Aryans think that Walt would ever come after them, meanwhile he’s building some serious meter lol.

[details=Spoiler]
Wow Walt is just a storm of emotion and contradiction in this episode. We see him go from offering his entire fortune in exchange for Hank’s life, to assuming credit for taking him out. We see him plead with Skylar to allow him to protect her, to cruelly cursing her.

I feel like so much of Walt’s actions post Hank’s death were driven by a very petty need to re establish ego. There’s much more at play than pragmatism when he reveals Jesse hiding to the Aryans. Kidnapping Holly was also a regrettable power play against Skylar. He looks just as pathetic this episode to me as he did at the end of last weeks episode.[/details]

Hank went out like a man

Also, man that baby is so cute. I was so sad seeing her cry. Wanted to carry her :frowning:

Also todd is like the most unassuming guy ever. Talked them into leaving money. And knowing Walt would be fucked, is now using jesse to cook enough meth for them to make a fortune.

So does the black guy just stay in the house?

Saul probably picked him up, for plan d

Also

Spoiler

It’s pretty clear from the call that Walt still cares for his family, he only chewed Sylar out to keep them away after realizing what’d he done. He knows they can’t be anywhere near him when he goes to exact bloody revenge against the Aryans. It’s nice to see shades of Walt’s humanity creeping back in, begging and pleading for Hanks life, then taking the fall for it so his family wouldn’t get caught up in it any more than they already are.

This fucking episode

Phone call Spoiler

Spoiler

You guys are really confused as to what that call was about? No, it wasn’t out of anger, it was his way to let Skylar off the hook, he is on the record now as to admitting to masterminding it and coercing her into following.

She’s free now, she no longer has to worry about being arrested.

Lol i think you need to rewatch the episode…

thanks I finally understood

[details=Spoiler]

lol dem pants from the first cook I think lol[/details]

it was a dope episode so i probably will

Spoiler

Walt is being driven by raw emotion after Hank’s death. He rubs Jane’s death in Jesse’s face, kidnaps Holly to spite Skylar, but ultimately cools off. Him crying during the phone call to Skylar while acting tough on the phone shows that he did that to distance himself from his family to help prevent future criminal implications against them. He ultimately left Holly with the FD knowing she’d be returned home safely, and “disappeared” through Saul after tarnishing his own name to make one last play to protect his family (in his mind). I think the Holly crying for mama in the changing room was when he finally came down from “hulk smash” mode.

Spoiler

Walt FINALLY realizes the brevity of his actions. Episode was good, but that’s what sealed the deal for me. He finally accepts the damage he’s done to those around him. Too little, too late tho, he’s lost everything he’s ever loved in one swift move. Love this goddamn show

Here’s hoping Jesse soaked up some of Walt’s “make everything explode into poison gas” MacGyver chemistry knowledge.

Walt called her a bitch and it was satisfying… why? This man completely ruined her life. If he had any less ground to stand on, he’d be falling into a bottomless pit.

Actually, I’m going to get it out of the way now: anybody currently under the assumption that anybody among Walt’s family or friends deserves to be told off by Walt is a fucking moron and needs to quit Breaking Bad, the Internet, and life all at once.

That said, there’s more to Walt kidnapping Holly and calling Skyler than meets the eye. It’s obviously a ploy. He knew the cops would be there. He knew that leaving himself at odds with her and characterizing their relationship as her holding him back and meddling in his affairs would make her look uncomplicit with everything from square one. That’s his gambit. Ruining what’s left of Walter White’s life in order to give lives back to Walter White’s family.

And get used to thinking of it that way–“Walt” as he exists now and Walter White as two separate entities, because whomever he is after this ep is not Walter White.

Only question is, and he has months on the run to think about it: is Jesse an enemy or is he family? Walt seems to currently favor the former, to understate the matter.

I didn’t realize we had a BB thread, lol. Walt is almost at maximum K-Groove… These last two eps are going to be amazing.
I don’t think there is anything that could top slow burn to this moment and that payoff when Walt told Jesse about Jane… Destroyed.
