1.) I was hoping against all hope that Hank would live, but knowing he would die. I guess I was kinda right on both fronts. RIP Hank. You went out like a motherfucking man.
2.) This show is uncompromising. The scene with Walt and Jesse had me shaking afterward. I, personally, never thought Jane’s death would be brought up again. These fucking masters took that check to the bank though. I was so caught up in the shock that I didn’t even think of why Walt would want Jesse dead until Todd made that plea to keep him alive for info.
3.) Jesse will kill Todd. I can feel it. But that probably means it’s not going to happen. Walt could, though…
4.) I didn’t realize the hidden motive of that call until after the episode. Genius. Marie probably won’t stand for that though. I thought the Nazis would kill Skyler, but I’m now thinking the White family just ends up in witness protection. ON that note, the scene where the family breaks up? So heart-wrenching.
I feel like I’m ruined for TV here. I’ve been watching Dexter after BB for comic relief this season, but BB has enveloped everything to the point I’m not even sure I can do that anymore. I laughed when I turned off the TV when Low Winter Sun came on. Any attempt to follow that, direct or indirect, will fail. And I’m including the final 2 episodes of Breaking Bad here too. They can’t top themselves here.
