Breaking Bad

lol yeah that was his cocaine cd

lool, im done with this show. its so terrible

really walt, all the connections you have, no one to be trailing your step brother who is basically living to catch you, and they dont have anything on you. WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU STILL IN THE GOD DAMN COUNTRY
really walt, no fucking security cams at your house at all, which wouldve ended this whole mystery of where is jesse. the best meth maker the world has seen, and has all kinds of blood on his hands doesnt even have a fucking security cam
jesse is such a fucking pussy as usual. “HE CANT GET AWAY WITH THIS (while looking up to the sky as if to talk to god)” please do the lords work jesse, and shoot yourself in the temple. he shoulda got tossed in an acid pit 4 seasons ago
i wish jesse woulda still walked over to walt to record the convo, only to have walt not pat him down or ask him to lift up his shirt. just for the show to be extra stupid
did they really think jesse could sit down and get walt to say enough incriminating shit without it setting of a red flag for walt, and him realizing that jesse has turned snitch

as usual, the show makes sense where it wants to, but overall has so much stupid unbelievable shit going on in it when it doesnt have to, it just makes my brain boil. if the show ends with walt sipping a pina colada with his family somewhere nice, jesse is dead, hank dead by “suicide” or in a coma, and hanks wife just alone and mad because she cant do shit as usual, then i might have to find the writers of this show and hit them with a few chairs to the face.

fuck everyone. i’ll check in on the last episode to see walt win, but in america, the land of the pussies, i bet he wont, so they can end it on some high moral bullshit. this poorly written, lacking in common sense every episode, emotional train of irrationality leads to just end with walt fucking winning, and everyone eating a big fat dick. no cancer, millions, his wife back on his cock, pina colada’s, jesse in a ditch, and a mansion on the beach in laos.

I love how Jessie called walt “a lucky sunovabitch”

Then when he’s about to get Walt with evidence, Jessie’s paranoia kicked in and he thought the skinhead was working with Walt, ran away and ruined the best chance he had at catching walt (legally)

hahaha

This episode solidifies what I’ve said for the last 3 seasons- Jesse is the centerpiece of the whole drama. A man between worlds.

This was never more evident when he confessed all his misdeeds on camera and Hank was still eager to dismiss his humanity and use him as a tool to flush out Walt, even at the cost of Jesse’s life. Hank is just like Walt in this sense, as in those not in their circle are expendable.

Jesse has proven repeatedly that he’s just as cunning, only lacking confidence and direction. Having a conscience doesn’t help either.

This episode was more like the eye in the storm than anything. It also showed a dramatic shift of Walt’s fatherly priorities shift from one “son” to another. Which leads me to believe Walt Jr. will know the truth when:

Spoiler

Jesse’s name is mentioned in some random conversation and Walt Jr. will remember when he was accidentally called by that name by his father seasons ago.

My favorite scene was when Jesse was explaining the legend known as Heisenberg and how he’s survived ridiculous odds and his genius- and the DEA guys don’t realize he isn’t exaggerating.

Betsy Brandt and her Marie character actually are pretty similar, except Marie is borderline neurotic. The actress seemed more attractive than expected when I glimpsed her on Talking Bad.

Lastly, this episode was the 3rd time Walt’s been compared to the devil.

How the fuck did Walt defrost that gun so fast? Better question, how did that gun freeze and remained functional?

the scene where hank walked in on jesse was perfect

Also this episode has awesome music/ambience throughout. Especially the spy music playing during Walt’s B.S. gasoline story staging (could’ve did without the extreme close-up of him taking off his pants, but a gag’s a gag lol… no homo  )

Oh and the scene with walt jr got me a lil choked up. RJ is a good actor, hope he gets more work.

Just was reflecting on how much Hank has changed in the past 4 episodes. Before now I could kind of look past Hank’s one blow up on Jesse, and still thought of him as mostly a “good cop.” Now its clear his motivation to take down Walt is largely personal, and that he’ll do some really immoral things to make that happen. Makes me wonder if Hank’s motivation as a DEA agent in general stems from some personal hang up.

its a revolver, thats how they roll. defrosting wouldnt be that hard. he could put it on the floor, blast the heat and put the windows down, and it would get enough of the job done by the time he got there. just think of a revolver like an ak47, it pretty much works almost no matter what its been through.

Jeese already spoilers the finale for us.

Any scene of Cranston in his underwear has to be tighty whities and there has to be at least one gratuitous closeup of his package. It’s in his contract for any show he does.

At this point the show is about survival. Walt, Hank, Jesse. They’re all fighting to survive in their own ways. Hank’s motivation is survival just as much as it is Walt’s, just in a different way. I really think his motivation to not bring down Walt immediately was loyalty to his family and perhaps not truly believing Walt to be capable of being Heisenberg until he saw it for himself. It’s definitely personal NOW, but I don’t believe for a moment that it started out that way.

Considering the circumstances, I don’t blame Hank at all for this being personal. That he’s even still going after this considering what Marie just told him about the medical bills is pretty brave. I’m still a little mad that he doesn’t care what happens to Jesse, but, again, he doesn’t know Jesse like we do.

I like the turn with Hank because it shows immorality on his side of the law too, which appeals to my hippie anti establishment sensibilities. Plus it just wouldn’t be Breaking Bad if Hank didn’t have his own flaws.

I don’t see Hank or Jesse really being motivated by survival at this point though. I’d think if they were so self concerned they’d just move the hell out of ABQ and distance themselves from Walt. Jesse and Hank both want revenge.

How would moving away help them at all? Hank’s still a pretty high-ranking law enforcement officer. That’s not going to change regardless of where he goes within the U.S.

I still say it’s about survival. Hank knows he’s fucked. Jesse knows he’s fucked. I would say Walt knows that he is too, but I don’t believe he’s capable of it. His form of survival is being able to keep things the way they was, which if he wasn’t so blinded by power and self-dissolution, he’d clearly be able to see is impossible at this point.

I hope Marie gets her inner rogue goin’ and poisons him… :coffee:

When he said that line, I said out loud “Well, there goes hank, breaking bad.”

Though his breaking bad is pretty mild. But walt started off mild as well, with his tighty whities, and Crazy 8.

Ok, so I have 2 comments to make.

First, my awesome prediction about where the show is going

Spoiler

Jesse said “I am going to hit you where you really live.” Where is that? Walt, in the past, made it clear to Jesse that his work was his only life. So, it’s reasonable to think that he’s going to hit him where he works.

But lets take that further. Walt is out of the game, and in order to fuck him up, Jesse is going to need to get Walt back into the game, so he can catch him. There’s one way to mess with Walt that is known to work: his ego.

So, this is what’s going to happen.

Jesse is going to call Lydia, and tell her he wants back in. She’s going to hook him up with the Neo Nazis. He will return to producing pure meth, only the entire time, he is working as an informant (much like Crazy 8 was originally). The blue meth will start flowing again, with good purity. Lydia will make her money, the white supremacists will get their good product and their cash, all the while Jesse can implicate each one of them – especially Todd – with the DEA.

And then, he will don the hat, shave his head, and declare “I am heisenberg.”

Walt will get ahold of Todd’s uncle, and tell him he wants Jesse dead. He will refuse. “He works for me, he’s off limits. He’s heisenberg now.” All of them will get arrested, busted by the DEA, including Jesse, who will admit to being Heisenberg and go on the news, telling his story of what he did.

Walt will be floored. His ego will be shattered. There’s no way he’s going to let Jesse take credit for his own actions.

And he will get back into the game.

And Hank will catch him red handed.

His hubris will be his undoing. And Jesses plan will work.

Jesse’s plans always work.

Not sure how this ties into the flash forward Walt, but I can totally see this going down.

Now, for my dream last night, on how the series ends.

Spoiler

The next episode plays out rather boringly, we see the pieces start to come together as Jesse, the aryans, Walt, Hank, and Lydia all circle eachother, getting into position for the series to wrap up.

Then we take a dramatic turn.

Holly is found, with a bloody head, floating face down in the pool. Skylar screams, Walt dives into the pool to save his baby. But it’s too late, she’s gone. Walt sinks into an extreme depression. Unable to process his own responsibility and guilt, he leaves his family behind and just becomes a recluse.

A year later, walt receives a call from Skylar. He answers.

Skylar informs him that there is an old DEA agent in their house, sitting on their couch and drinking a beer. He needs to get home and deal with it because she doesn’t know what to do.

Walt comes home and finds… an aged hank. In his late seventies, easily. He glares at walt, but doesn’t attack him.

Walt learns that this is Hank, from the future. Time travel had finally been invented… but it was a one way trip. Hanks biggest regret was not being able to figure out who murdered Holly. And so, he came back from the future, to solve the crime once and for all.

Cue Hanks crazy adventure, where he goes back and questions all the key people in the story – from Todd to Jessee - including some scenes with Hank stuck in a coffin, pretending to be dead, in order to get the jump on the actual murderer - Skinny Pete.

fuck my dreams are weird

This is freaking awesome, was hoping for Walt to blast Jesse with the M60 but if neo nazis are gonna drag him to the desert instead am very happy with this :]

Agreed… nice theory! Somehow, it has to end up as Walt vs. the world. I don’t think Jesse will die until the final episode, if at all. Any thoughts of Saul “reducing his risk” in the coming episodes? He was staring down the barrel of a gun by Jesse, and probably doesn’t want to relive that.
