And that intro to this episode just emphasized that for good measure. Todd conveniently leaving out that detail of killing the kid, his uncle carelessly wiping the blood from his boot, and now we know they’re gonna fuck-up the cooking operation after moving to New Mexico.
Observational Note: Marie called Walt the Devil in the first ep and now Jesse is calling Walt the Devil in the preview? Damn…
I hope every bullet in Walt’s trunk is reserved for that Applebee’s/Chili’s/TGI Fridays/insertgenericshittyrestsruantwithfakeoverenthusiasticteenagewaiter.
Todd’s scene in the opening was reminiscent of the diner scene in Good Will Hunting. His mannerisms and tone of voice was very similar to Matt Damon’s in that movie. Intentional?
I wonder if todd an the crew are planning to take over everything… i noted how they said well let make some money.
I see folks mentioned the restaurant scene… beautifully done.
Walts demo tape was utter genius.
the acting from Jesse in the moment of realization… wow. I would love to know how many takes it took for that scene. Yet now I am fearing Jesse will die… he is getting a wee bit reckless now.
idk, but this time Walter fucked it up big time by pushing things out, jesse wasnt going to cooperate with hank, Saul cooperating with Walt finally back fired, great episode
Science question for you folks about when they stole the methylamine from the train earlier this season.
Walt mentions that water is more dense then methylamine. They stole 1000 gallons of methylamine and replaced it with an equal weight of 920 gallons of water more or less.
When they were stealing the methylamine, they were draining from the bottom of the train cart. And they were injecting water through the top of the vessel. But if water is more dense then methylamine, shouldn’t it have sunk to the bottom of the cart? That means they would have been stealing the very water they’d been injecting?
Slight oversight by the show’s writers?
Edit: Just found out that the water would actually mix in and dilute with the methylamine solution. I’m just gonna say Walt took this into account and that the dilution was probably negligible after extraction.
good episode, but here we go again with breaking bad falling back into bad writing and the jesse show of stupidity. i knew it wouldnt take long before this happened.if this wasnt the last season i would just stop watching right now. lol
Spoiler
if your going to kill the kid, just fucking shoot him and melt his body. you gonna go through cig swapping with ricin shit agian. what the fuck???
To play devil’s advocate, you have to be pretty smart for the kind of speed Chess shenanigans Walt pulled off once he realized what he could do with a Lily of the Valley plant.
This episode. Hot damn.
I thought for sure Jesse would be dead by the end of it. I was almost sick to my stomach thinking about it. Something tells me they’re not going to patch things up this time.
And oh, that moment of revelation when Hank realizes that not only has Walt cooked up a plausible story to implicate him, but that the medical bills are actually pretty solid evidence to back it up.
Maybe this is the season when Marie finally ditches the petty thefts and breaks bad herself.
