Damn I’m late on this, ridiculous episode. Best opening and ending of an episode I have seen in a long time, god I was beyond hyped at the end, which was bad because it’s 2 in the morning.
And goddamn Jesse is so beta right now. Dude needs to man up and go on with his life. He’s got the least blood on his hands out of anyone, wtf is he crying for.
Jesse’s pretty heinous. Shot a guy in the face, been indirectly involved in the murder/death of several others, including innocents, and every time he tries to do something remotely decent, Walt pushes the "Have I reminded you that you’re a stupid useless junky murderer today? " daddy issues button. It’s no mystery why he’s a total wreck.
I bet Walt kills Jesse over it, too. He’s wearing the same jacket in the flash forwards that Jesse wore in the earlier seasons of BB. His time is limited.

As for Walt, he does take on traits of people he’s killed, so there’s a good chance that he’s killed Jesse… but I feel like this last move of his (with the gun and the ricin) is more about saving somebody and not just revenge, and who else could it be besides saving Jesse from Lydia and the new meth operation?

I’ve got “Shield-Itis”; it’s a disease I picked up when the last season of The Shield was airing. I was all hype for the first episode, but I thought the hype would subside when I was back in the regular swing of watching the show week-to-week. Nope. Knowing that this was the last season kept the hype alive like you wouldn’t believe. I have it IN SPADES with BB right now. No hype drop yet.
I totally thought Hank would be super sneaky and Walt wouldn’t find out he’s been caught until around episode 3 or 4. But then that garage door went down and my spine went up. You just know Walt’s going to bring up that he’s been paying Hank’s bills. You just know Lydia’s going to fuck things up. You just know there’s consequences to leaving the game. It’s just… fuck.
