Breaking Bad

spoiler tags!!!

anyway, yeah shit was wild.

You realize Todd acted on his own, right? Jesse even screamed “Nooo!” so he wouldn’t shoot him but he did it anyway.

I mean, just so you know because your post reads like you don’t.

since the hats out the bag with no spoiler tags a few times already. dude shooting that kid was just breaking bad 101. everything should be going good, and there is no reason for it not to, so insert stupid random situation to happen that shouldnt have, or, OR MOTHERFUCKING OR, WOULDNT HAVE BY ANY PLAUSIBLE MEANS.

the show is fucking patronizing. its like hey i know you idiots wouldnt be able to understand us writing some good, plausible, common sense shit, so here you go. do you get it now? i fucking hate it. lol. the one redeeming character it had is dead, and is the ONLY thing that kept me around after i cracked out 3.5 seasons in like 3-4 days, and was super frustrated by the end of 3, but i said fuck it, im bored, and now look at me. lol

side note, are we to fucking believe walter would kill ANYONE who stepped in his path including the innocent, but a woman who has been nothing but a cunt before and after her knowing he made meth is still going to be his inevitable downfall. NO ONE IS IN DESIRE OF WALTERS WIFE. LOOK AT ALL THE CHARACTERS! NONE OF THEM GIVE A FUCK AND ALMOST EXPECT HER TO GO OFF THE DEEP END.

this show is unbelievable, unremarkable, SHIT.

My entire post was a critique of Todd’s actions. Exactly what did I say that didn’t synch up to what happened?

What Todd did was pretty dumb and unnecessary. I think he was just trying to follow orders, though.

“The point is, no one, other than us, can ever know that this robbery went down. Nobody. Got it?” -Jesse
"Yeah, absolutely." -Todd
"Are you sure?" -Walt
"Yes, sir." -Todd

Welp. At least we know that he isn’t an undercover cop or whatever.

yeah the thing was that they were prob going to kill todd for sure after the heist but since he killed the kid they know hes cool. I also agree with him being disposable. Everything down to his nondescript ass face screams hes going to eat it.

This would’ve been the most flawless heist in history (already the greatest heist I’ve seen on tv/movies period) if not for the end… Awesome episode all around.

Oh and after her last comment she made to the group, I would’ve Cable S.FP x4 that bitch. Bold insolence should not be tolerated.

Poor Jesse, he’s the only one who’s retained his humanity, and constantly has to face these trials.

Walt on the other hand, is a lost cause.

Walt is worse than a psychopath. Psychopaths have an inability to feel empathy or love, ergo, have no baseline for moral conduct; Walter White on the other hand, fully understands these concepts, but decides to neglect or conveniently pantomime emotion in order to reach his self-serving goals.

That to me is evil at its core.

Oh and todd has to go. Like next ep…

Jimmy1200 is retarded.

Just ignore his ass. He’s got enough problems of his own to worry about if he’s the kind of person who rams down five seasons of a show that he hates.

So…what shall they do with the cold-blooded Todd? They can’t leave an ice-cold guy like that alive, he’s argubually more dangerous than Walter, he didn’t seem to give a fuck about wasting that kid despite there possibly being a way to let the kid live

I’ll be honest. During that post I kinda blanked out. But it’s there so fuck it I’ll stand behind it.

what I think will happen with Todd

Spoiler

You know, the more I think about it, the more I think Walt will actually side with Todd and at least attempt to keep him on as a soldier. If Todd was as expendable as his role implies, then they could just shoot him dead, with no fucks given. But I don’t trust the Breaking Bad writers to just waste someone like that after they’ve done something big. They just HAVE to draw drama from this situation somehow. I think they’re going to use him to make Walt that much more deplorable. Siding with the completely unnecessary murder of an innocent child is the point of no return, no matter what smoke Walt being the main character blows at you.

Or hell, maybe they will kill him, but his body ends up having something on it that could lead to them.

hank

Spoiler

I can just FEEL that Hank will find that bug in his picture. Might not happen, but that was such a stupid place to hide it. Hank’s going to have more flashbacks than the Wounded Warrior Foundation when his head clicks about Walt.

I think everyone seems to have forgotten that Todd broke the golden rule: Do whatever Walt and Jesse say nothing more, nothing less.

^Only Mike, Jesse, and Walt are paid to think on this show (and I guess Hank too).
Todd did do what they said. Maybe he took it in a direction that they didn’t anticipate, but within the regrettably loose parameters they laid down, he acted within orders.

And he’s not disposable in the sense that they can shoot him without any compunctions. He’s disposable in the sense that he has very little screentime and no particular relation to the ongoing plot, plus he’s done something to put Walt and Jesse in a tough position. Characters who fit that description traditionally don’t stick around for very long.
todd did the right thing. like mike said, there are 2 types of heists, the successful ones, and the ones with witnesses…

you dont know how long the kid was standing there as the motorbike couldnt be heard when the pump was still running. you dont know how what the kid thinks of the situation, you dont know who the kid will tell or who his parents might be. just too many unnecessary risks.

the bugs in hanks office are a huge risk, I hope he goes back to remove them.

very strong ending, just in your face like breaking bad always is. the second you are about to think “is he really gonna do it?” the kid is already lying dead in the mud.

I love Walt, the dude has been getting raped all his life and this whole meth manufacturing is basically him giving the finger to the world thats screwed him. The only questionable or unrealistic thing hes done was save Jesse that one time by running over the 2 thugs that Jesse made peace with. Other than that I think all his decisions have been pretty sound. Other smaller things might be picking a fight with Benneki at his office, buying the charger twice,…i know Im missing a few others. Walt hasnt done anything yet to make me dislike him yet. Some of you might be disgusted with how poisoned Andrea`s kid but that stroke of genius and insight into human nature only made me respect him more. Besides, Walter knew the kid would recover anyway.

I gotta say, am I the only one thinking about the kid’s parents and how they’ll go all out looking for him? Will that not prevent them digging up the containers? In a patch of dirt full of nothing, you’ll notice someone digging up a hole with the construction equipment they had. Well, maybe they’ll pump it out into the truck and move it. Either way, complications!

Knowing this series I wouldn’t imagine it would be difficult for them to piece two and two together. A truck that just “happened” to break down on the tracks, the kid goes missing roughly at that time. Perhaps something goes wrong or there is evidence left on or around where the methylamine cart was, since Jesse and Todd had to piece the thing back together and escape with only seconds to spare. A lot that can go wrong here.

geniuses. now assuming the kids parents will notice his absence, that area is going to be blown up they might tie it to that strange break down on the train tracks and might try to trace all that crap and scour that area for clues. someone will notice something happened to the methlamine that was in the cargo and here will come hank sniffing around.

and when did walt get so lenient on the quality of his methlamine? i would have imagined him being more anal about the cleanliness of burying a tub under the dirt and siphoning it through a hose out in the open dessert. this wasnt my favorite episode. i think they let too many things slip and plays everyones weakness very sloppy.

It was more fun to watch then the complications were almost natural. but it seems like the complications are being forced in desperation of carrying a story for a few more episodes.
