Breaking Bad

Because he’s an overreaching asshole who escaped death and isn’t content with that.

so is season 5 where the hate begins?

probably because instead of taking a lucrative job with the company he helped create- which would have given him a health plan and enough money to take care of his family, he decided to sell drugs and kill people. it’s not that hard.

Still not seeing it. and was he offered a job? All I remember is he was offered to get the treatment paid. Had he gotten a job offer though, that wouldn’t have fixed the other issue. That being, leaving enough money so that his family could live well off with out him. That job wouldn’t have done that

ya he was offered a job, although Walt realized (or believed) it was a veiled attempt at charity.

purely theoretically, yeah, he probably wouldn’t save up a sizable chunk of change, but even now he’s low on cash, with a couple murders to his name to boot. its pretty clear a big factor in walts decision making is his ego, but his family is his rationalization.

I just decided to catch up with this show recently too, seeing as how the fifth and final season is airing, I’ve been trying to catch up non-stop, so far got two seasons down in 2 days, I hope I can catch up with the third and fourth before the first episode of season five is taken off On Demand > _ O

Walt has become the piece of shit he’s always wanted to be. It’s gotten to the point where his ostensibly pleasant interaction with family members is becoming creepy. He isn’t doing this for them and he never was.

I think the FBI guys who suspected Jesse of being involved with Brock being poisoned are going to make a return, they said they’d be watching him and we haven’t seen them since. Would be very Breaking Bad-esque for them to bust in at an inopportune time for Walt and Jesse, say as they’re cleaning up:rofl:

Most of the show is also on netfLix. My sleep issues had me through the entire show in a week…had to not talk to Koop until he caught up.

Tonight’s the night.

This is just the time that shit should be getting real. I’m excited.

I’m loving this season, but I’m a bit sad it could take the whole season (this and next years) to explain the cold open in 501.

I dunno, we may get an answer by next week and it’ll just go on from that opening into the second half of the fifth season. At least that’s what I expect.

Wow the ending to today’s episode. Holy shit, its happened before, but we actually got to SEE it this time

And FUCK Walter, dumb, stubborn son of a bitch. lol

HOLY SHIT!

There goes my assumption that dude was a cop.

end of 505

[details=Spoiler]I just KNEW that kid was going to get shot right at the opening. In fact, I was waiting for the shot IN the opening. Why else would they focus on him? Still, holy shit man. That Todd dude is a complete monster, and something tells me he’d turn snitch to protect himself when things come tumbling down.
[/details]

I KNOW. ITS THE BEST.

Heist episode was baller. Breaking Bad ROLLER COASTERRRRRRRRRR!!!

Spoiler

I think youre wrong and it just showed that hes REALLY not gonna say shit cuz he prob doesnt want people finding out he shot a little boy in the chest. Its 100 percent skylar or that chick that they got to worry about. He might end up being a loose cannon but I dont think hell be a snitch.

After thinking about it more, yeah, you’re right.

Shit just got real, and next episode, shit will get really real. Jesse’s going to want to handle that pronto.

Is anyone thinking

speculation on rest of season

Spoiler

Todd’s going to get the ricin? Or become the new Victor?

Also…

one of skyler’s lines

[details=Spoiler]
Skyler: Looking at Walt’s pants Burying bodies?
Walt: Robbing a train.

Actually, Walt… a bit of both. A bit of both.[/details]

Oh my damn, yo. That ending.

YEEHH BIITCH!!

the circle is now complete. breaking bad is the dark version of back to the future.

Todd

Spoiler

I think the latter. Kid showed some intelligence when pumping the water. He’ll be another pawn, but even better cuz Walt knows he’s fine with killing. And pitting Todd and Jesse against each other would be another easy way to get people to hate Walter even more.

You know, Vince Gilligan said in an interview that there’s a point in this season where you lose all sympathy for Walt. I know there’s already been a thousand of those points by now, but what if…

That moment

[details=Spoiler]Walt sides with Todd on his decision? Jesse may have said to make sure there were no other people in on the robbery, but Walt didn’t seem to have ANY reaction to the kid being killed. What if, instead of helping Jesse and Mike kill Todd in the myriad ways he could, he keeps Todd on because they need a loyal soldier? Walt co-signing that shit would probably be the lowest point he’s gone to. Then, Jesse might see Walt’s OK with hurting children.
Then Jesse might remember that Gus didn’t poison Brock. And that the cigarette conveniently went missing around just the time Walt needed Jesse on his side the most…
