All I know is that Gus is a straight up G, and walt just does not know when to stop. He got handled by Jesse and he really doesn’t know what to do now. Real talk if Gus wants them dead I am almost positive he could do it. There is a lot more to Gus that what we know. He is way too calm in all situations and shows no fear… He will be scary if you piss him off.
Yeah I got a question about Gustav actually
Spoiler
A couple of episodes back in the Gustav flashback scene with Tuco’s dad the guy said he didn’t kill him because he knew who he was. What did he mean? Who is he?
I’m actually avoiding ready anything posted here as I haven’t watched the third season yet. Just came to say that Season 3 is now streaming on Netflix. That is all.
Remember he said some stuff about Chile as well… So I guess those are clues? I am still unsure about that scene too.
Spoiler
The show is building a mystery around his life before he left Chile. He lived there under Pinochet’s regime, and something went down that he wants neither the cartel nor the DEA to know about. So far, they haven’t cleared it up.
I think the flashback was there to show us why he’s so calm and composed, because in his position being anything less will means death one way or the other. On the other hand, he’s clearly holding back his emotions until he gets hit with the perfect trigger (either Mike dying or when getting revenge for his friend.)
Regardless, Gustavo’s huevos are made out of vibranium.
A mixture of vibranium and unobtainium.
walt is getting on my nerves. if i were jesse i’d be like “I already took care of gale. you take care of gus bitch!”
All I gotta say is WOW that was an intense fucking episode.
I knew Gus was going to do something, but not that. That’s goddamn determination.
Holy Shit this episode felt like I was watching a Greek epic! It also felt definitely longer than most.
I knew
Spoiler
From the moment he popped those pills I knew his plan.
BEST FUCKING SHOW ON TELEVISION… EVER!
I felt stupid for not realizing it earlier. I didn’t get a clue until the “work of art” came out.
Random Nelson Mandela quote the last 10 minutes made me think of:
the quote
Spoiler
“Resentment is like drinking poison and then hoping it will kill your enemies.”
Gus > Mandela.
Hooooly shit what an episode! Is it next Sunday yet?
oh fuck
[details=Spoiler]Oh fuck, I was clenching my fist like MAD when Mike was choking out that cartel guy with piano wire.
[/details]
Well played, Gus, well played.
Man me too. Shit was intense, but still so badass.
Just started watching this series via Netflix (on episode 12) and trying really hard not to read most of this thread, but I want to beat Walt Jr. with his crutches.
intense episode.
shit got too real
so i guess thats
ep10
[details=Spoiler]mike and gus out? or will they survive?
and goddamn skylar why you gotta be such a dumbass lol
OH and yall notice Mike was about to shoot Jesse before he got shot himself?? DAMN
edit: after rewatching that scene, its hard to say, it can seem like he’s gonna shoot jesse OR that he saw the shooter… though i really doubt he was going to shoot jesse… they can do that later anyway if they want to, they kinda need him at least until they escaped into safety
[/details]
godlike episode last night
I think that he saw the shooter, but didnt raise his gun in time to get off a worthy shot. Obviously Jesse has earned Mike’s and Gus’ trust at this point. You can tell that gus approves of jesse when he gave his slight grin after jesse talked down to that cartel chemist, then cooked a good batch after that.
hoping
Spoiler
I was hoping that gus would take over the cartel after offing Eladio and his capos, not running from it. But I’m gonna assume Eladio was just one head from a Cerberus…
