Saul is the only cool character for me. The fact I can hate all the characters and still want to watch it is a credit to how good it is. Loved the season premiere!
lol Saul is ruined by Bob Odenkirk frequently being on Tim and Eric. Everytime i see an actor thats been an acor on Tim and Eric I cant dissociate them from their sketch.
HERE SHE COMES!
I cant believe a lot of people are arguing that its Mike who made that call to Walt. The voice is clearly Gus’s (the way he pronounced Walter especially should never make you think its Mike…)…
Yeah, I knew it was Gus. I told you it was Gus White Shadow!
“Go Home Walter”
Poor Jesse, poor Jesse’s roomba.
Yeah man, Jesse is all kinds of FUCKED UP…ever since Walter came into his life, he’s been living in absolute HELL. They gonna kill each other by the end of this show, BET IT!
Poor Jesse, he’s trying to cover his cracked emotional shell. Seeing the frailty of life has made him seek random forms of false pleasures.
Walt is making a dangerous play, but a necessary one, because eventually, Gus will kill them all. I think Mike always knew he was expendable, but seeing just how Victor got offed has changed his psyche.
Oh and RESIDENT EVIL 4 BY A LONGSHOT!!!
Man this season is starting so well. The final scene of this week’s episode was awesome.
that car wash owners eyebrows are epic as always.
love the show.
I always knew the carwash would be revisited.
I hope that if they buy the carwash, Walt gets his revenge on that douche kid who was being an ass in his chem class (turning him from happy eager chem teacher to “Fuck these kids” teacher) and who was making fun of him for working at the carwash.
like something like, he drives up in his car… and then walt just fucks it up. like that guy who was talking mad shit on his phone and then walt blew his car up.
Jesse is fucked.
And bam lol Mike with the punch in the face. Yeah I think Mike is really eager to save his own ass and not fuck with Gus, big time. Walt pressing the issue to meet with Gus will turn into Mike pressing the issue with Gus and i think he knows that could end badly for him. Mike doesn’t want “reconciliation” and “clarity”, he just wants to keep his job and his life, really. So he’s saying fuck walter you gotta know when to sit back and accept that Gus doesn’t want to see you.
It’s gonna be interesting because walt has a really powerful gang boss hating his guts and there’s no where he can really run to… especially because the Mexicans got fucked by Gus too.
Also it’s really sad to see Hank and Marie struggling big time with Hank’s physio. Hank said some rotten stuff to her =( not cool.
Hank and Marie’s marriage is down in the gutter, I honestly don’t see any way they’re going to salvage it unless Hank does an unrealistic 180 (which would probably be too late at that point.)
Which just reminded me…
Spoiler
Her yearning for some kind of companionship was evident when she overtly begged the Physical Therapist to stay and help Hank. I don’t think it was sexual, but it’s obvious Marie feels unloved and unwanted, and she can’t go to her sister Skyler for that kind of affection.
so, apparently
Spoiler
its the 3rd guy(new guy) who called walt.

**UPDATE: **There’s been so much debate in the comments about who called Walt - Gus or Mike - that I went and asked Vince Gilligan. I don’t view his answer as any kind of spoiler (as it’s info from an episode that’s already aired), but in case you do, don’t read the next short paragraph:
So as it turns out, it wasn’t Mike. And it wasn’t Gus. It was, instead, the new third man in the operation, Tyrus (played by Ray Campbell), whom we saw earlier weighing the batch. And that explains why no one could agree on whether it was Esposito’s voice or Banks’s voice, I suppose.
TYRUS. Black man telling Walt to step the fuck off.
You lose.
PERFECT!
Oh and Saul’s commercial was hallucinogenic and hilarious. What a lovable scumbag…
Hank just doesnt like feeling pampered by Marie DAILY.
He may seem rough on her, but i think theyll still pull through, as evidenced when he got his shipment of minerals (lol). She was ignoring him, and when he pleaded to her, she complied, because Hank needs her support.
Hank’s total dependence on Marie is largely what’s causing his resentment in the first place.
Maybe Walt is finally learning that he can’t bend reality to his will with some clever words. Recall that at this point in the last season, he had already attempted to rationalize, in front of the entire school, how the plane crash wasn’t that bad. You know, the one that was really bad, as an indirect result of his actions.
The interesting thing is how comparatively low-key the season has been so far. They’re pulling back from the nonstop plotting of the latter part of season 3 so we can take some time to review all the lives Walt has fucked up since the beginning.
Fantastic start to the season, however, can we please have Skylar and Jessie get shot this season? I’m so sick of the both of them. Hell I want Skylar to die more than I did Agent Stahl from Son’s of Anarchy and I actually literally punched the air and cheered a loud “Fuck yeah!” when that happened.
Apart from the Tuco transitioning of seasons 1-2 the seasons usually start out with some kind of episodic overview before the plotting begins. Walt’s ambition is going to evolve past the point of mere “survival”, this I know for certain.
What doesn’t kill you…
So, did anyone else think there might be some foreshadowing in the flashback sequence with young Gus and his chemist friend?
I am tired of Skylar as well. Jesse is trying to step his game up, but whenever he starts to talk is when he fucks it up for himself. My whole thing about Skylar is that she is saying all this shit to Walt and stuff, but is not about to bounce, and is it me or does it seem like she has basically forgotten about the fact that Walt has cancer? Also don’t get me started on Walt. He has been messin up mass lately and its starting to piss me off. The season was kind of stale at first but has started to pick up significantly.
