I will say that this show has greatly contributed to the fact that most if not all of its viewers are complete, and utter assholes.
I see goody is still mad about the comic thread and the parent thread.
any who boss episode.
6 dats till I see my man Walt die like all his contemporaries.
It seems Walt’s death’s inevitable. I mean, what else is the ricin for? He’s not going to be slipping it to anyone and he’s sick as hell.
The M60 is obviously for gunning down Nazis.
Walt’s money goes through Jesse to his family finding him still alive perhaps?
Saul is a piece and I can see off the board for the finale and I doubt they’ll use Saul’s fixer in any major way to wrap it up.
Lydia… think as I might I can’t see Lydia being resolved after all this. Not unless she just happens to be chilling with the Nazis when Walt rocks up. She seems safe from the inevitable Walt + Jesse vs. White Power gang showdown.
September 29th, 2013. Will be a date that will live in infamy.
Fuck all that shit.
I’m mad because it’s been forever since the forum update and your avatar is** still. fucking. BLURRY.**
Breaking Bad proves the Universe is indifferent to pain and suffering. Todd may come out of this but end up watching Lydia die.
Hotdamn that Head Mistress!
I like how the finale will be the actual finale.
Kudos on you for going the Spartacus route and hopefully having a last episode with things actually happening. The penultimate episode trend has gotten pretty stale and formulaic in the one hour serious tv drama route the past couple years.
Wasn’t a bad episode, but was a little snooze worthy. It was kind of like a 75 minute appetizer. The best part is how Gretchen and Elliot came back out of nowhere to become the main villains we all want to see die.
Todd is just that Nigga
O_O all my frustrations and rants over the years over this show. the good and the bad, but GOD DAMN THAT WAS THE GREATEST EPISODE EVER. thats what the fuck i am talking about. that ending and what was on the tv. so good
that last episode made me feel like i want to watch the entire series over again for some insane reason. lets fucking go heizenberg!!
Yeah, so I’m not 100% sure if it was what gretchen and elliot said, or the fact that Charlie Rose confirmed that Blue Meth was still flowing, that got Walt to give up turning himself in. I mean, from that alone he has to know Jesse is still alive. But I’m not sure if he’s going back to save him, or finish him off… perhaps both.
You have to give Todd SOME credit, he didn’t kill Skylar even if that’s what Lydia wanted. He knew it wasn’t necessary, and he still has respect for Mr. White enough not to cross him. But the fact that Lydia tried to put a hit on his family, makes me think the ricin is definitely for her.
One last prediction, for old times sake
Spoiler
Walt goes back home, cue the denny’s scene. Gets his M60, goes to hunt Nazi’s. Maybe 1-2 guys show up to help him, but most likely not since he doesn’t have any contacts in that world. Black bag we see is full of homemade explosives, his chemistry knowledge will come into play here somehow (mustard gas? Using it to flush out the Nazi’s and kill them 1 by 1?).
Todd is wounded but doesn’t die. Tells Walt how he protected his Family from Lydia, convinced his uncle to leave him his money. Didn’t want to cross him. Walt kills Todd. He sees Jesse, but after all these months, he no longer wants him dead. He sets Jesse free, in an emotional scene.
Then he goes back home, to his house. The scene we saw before. He goes in his old house, gets the Ricin. He proceeds to track down Lydia, and uses it on her by slipping it into her Tea.
Turns himself in. Makes up a story about how Elliot and Gretchen were the driving force and his partners in the whole thing, comes up with a way to actually incriminate them enough that their stock price plummets, and they go bankrupt. Maybe even going so far as to blow up their company headquarters or something.
Walt leaves the cash for his Family, but he’s never able to go back to them again, as they reject him.
Sits alone, contemplating his choices in life, as the cough kicks in hard, leaving him hardly able to breath.
Jesse walks in, see’s Walt struggling. Walt can’t breathe, needs his medication to live… Jesse sits down, stares as Walt, and says “No. I’m just going to sit here and watch you die like you did to Jane.”
Sits down. Tear streams down his eye. Walt chokes to death and dies.
Jesse dons the heisenberg hat, walks off.
Fade to White.
But with these writers, you never know man
He knew the blue meth was still being sold because he left the recipe to Lydia and Todd. Why would he think Jesse is alive because of it?
He also doesn’t know about the hit on Skylar so why would he get the ricin for her?
Serious question: have you been paying attention to the show or are you doing your own meth when it’s airing?
lol pretty hard when Walt was giving Saul the Heinzenberg treat but then breaks into a coughing fit
I was thinking the other day, would to perfect if Saul were to show up randomly in GTA5.
He knew they were having production problems, and they wanted him back, he knew they couldn’t get the blue color right.
Now suddenly the blue stuff is still flowing. And he knows they took Jesse, and now he knows why Todd took Jesse alive.
Edit: Did you even read? The ricin comes AFTER the gun battle. You’re assuming buying the m-60 and getting the ricin happened one after another, when if you look, walt is way dirtier between the Denny’s scene and the Ricin scene.
Something happens in between.
edit2: I went back and looked, and he’s definitely dirty in the dennys scene, I’ll have to check later on my dvr and see what he looked like when getting the ricin, I remember him being dirtier
Slightly dirtier. His hair is a little messier and he has a bigger chest sweat stain on his shirt. That could just be a general “walking around in the sun” look. These seasons were shot different years, so the getups only have to match up to a certain percentage. Maybe production on the show just went for a dirtier look.
I’m dismayed at this, but I’m starting to think (515 spoiler speculation incoming)
Spoiler
Lydia won’t die.
Walt is ABQ’s most wanted right now, but he doesn’t seem to care. He’s not at all discrete about going to his old house and saying hi to his neighbor. He’s on a mission and probably doesn’t care about being caught when it’s all over. That doesn’t fall in line with the precision attack he would need to get at Lydia. How much does he even know about her outside of business?
Todd won’t kill Lydia, because he’s trying to feed the woodchipper.
Jesse probably won’t even get close enough to Lydia to kill her and throw off the Nazis’ whole operation.
So I don’t think she’ll die. Prison, however, is another story. Maybe part of Walt’s plan involves distributing Jesse’s confession if he finds it.
That doesn’t mean they couldn’t just add food coloring. Unless he knows the purity, he can’t say for sure it’s Jesse. He also knows they will kill for him anyway so he has no reason to believe they would have kept him alive. Even if he managed to think, “Oh, they could have gotten the info from Jesse” what’s the point of keeping him alive after more than one cook?
I find it hard to believe Walt would have just left a gun battle, all calm and without ANY serious injury, just to get ricin. Here. I think this game is up to your mental capacity:

I’m gonna laugh next week when you have to backtrack on all of that : )
Jesse is the only other person who can make blue meth. That’s how he knows.
Todd’s little smirk when Jesse mentioned him in the confession, sealed the deal. The guy is definite sociopath and he’s gotta go.
Lydia is the worst one of them all though. Her sawdust laden coochie creamed when she heard 92%. The fact that she wanted Skyler gone for the miniscule chance she’d rat her paranoid ass out, fucking dirty. I wish Mike killed her way back then.
I really liked the “Cleaner dude” as well as the actor who plays him, usually FBI/military-type roles. The guy did his job with due diligence and honesty.
That scene with Flynn was heartbreaking, and the concurrent scene with those 2-faced Gray Matter former colleagues, I could definitely feel Walt’s pure, palpable vitriol overflowing. It showed what I always knew since season 3, he was always Heisenberg even back then, the fallout happened for the same inherent reason why he decided to cook meth, his ego. I don’t think he’ll hit the Schwartzs directly, but will probably do a big “FUCK YOU!” statement in his own way.
Walt getting his cancer treatment in the woods wasn’t something I calculated. I thought the whole reason for the ricin was because he got cured and needed a way to off himself once his mission was completed; while it still could happen, the fact that he’s still terminal means the ricin could be used for something else…
Jesse’s escape method was really nice to watch… until he got caught. Even when caught in a seemingly hopeless situation where I knew he should’ve died, I knew he wasn’t (soul of the series). I guess Walt is really destined to rescue him from the clutches of the evil aryan rednecks. Sucks about his sorta-ex girlfriend though, I really hope he gets to murk Todd Saw-style.
Oh yeah and the principal… DAT ASS!
The scene where Todd is taking the lint off Lydia’s coat, so creepy. I hope those 2 get buried in the same acid drum.
Lmao @ the Metastasis Telenovela. Male model Jesse and Walter Blanco.
No he isn’t. Todd has been doing it for months. The one batch they showed him make was the only one we know wasn’t blue. Did you forget Todd was under Walter’s guidance for a while?
The only scenario I can come up with to include the ricin is after Walt does what he does he turns himself in to help clear Skylar. After all, she’s only under all this legal bullshit because Walt disappeared and the DEA made that clear. They want him but if they can’t get him they will take her instead. If he goes into custody and then dies, due to the ricin, the case stops with him and they’ll leave Skylar alone.
