Have to be honest, I was never a fan of the OG design, looks like a rip of the Xbone or Ouya but if its ergonomic for you then all power to ya. I wonder if the N64 SSB crowd will warm to this?
The L button depresses in such a way that it interferes with the stick, but it’s not a huge issue if you play N64 games because I don’t think any require those control elements to be used in sequence. Gotta be better than aged N64 pads at this point but a Hori Mini would still be preferable I think?
I been also reading Tweets where people experiencing the controller connector at the end of the cord snapping off. Could just be a minority, but there definitely a Quality control issue.
Hopefully Retrofigthers will fix this in future batches
The whole thing is that you are not supposed to use the stick with the L button though, if you remember the OG controller you would use it with the dpad and the z button would be for the stick. Yes they should fix it either way but I don’t see as it being a huge draw.
I agree with Double_Draggin on this one, The L button should not interfere with the Analog stick.
And I do know games where the left shoulder and the analog are used at the same time.
The Brawler pad should be able to do everything the OEM Nintendo 64 Controllers do, not less.
