I actually got a bunch of my friends starting to play 3s, which is jokes, they keep going to funland to try to get better
Justin and Jason, let me know the next time you’re anywhere near downtown or markham area for some casual or whatever, I’ve got some time most thursdays, fridays and saturdays so if you’re ever around, or up for some korean bbq or what not, let me know
Been a while since I checked out the thread. Just as I suspected…not much to see here as diablo pointed. I passed by shoppers last Friday just on whim to see who was there ( nobody of course) and I began talking to the indian guy that owns the place. He said he had new “electronic” joysticks installed in the 3rd strike cabinets. So I gave’m a whrile. The stick was stiffer than what I am us to but it plays pretty solid. What days do you guys go ( if you go), I might be able to meet up. BTW, if you guys frequent GGPO online my username is jon900.

i’m curious how many ppl here live near shoppers and play 3s? cause we should like meet up and play, i usually go on fridays 5-8. up to a few months ago i’ve noticed a few very decent players there(alex,makoto,urien and a ken player), but lately noone ever comes any more except for me and the ken player.
like the post said above, they have replaced the joysticks on the 3s machines, so there are now 2 running 3s machines with new joysticks, so its a great arcade for 3s players, only prob is there is not much 3s players coming any more, bunch of mt3 players tho.
its like the only arcade i know of that is around the area, gety,pmall and funland are so far and inconvenient.
