That’s more than a 10% drop in meter gain or vanilla too going buy those numbers. Looks to be a 20% drop based on the numbers show for Strider.
I was pleased to see all of the TAC attacks shown. TACs are actually not stupidly hard to counter if people don’t sneak them in in place of a visually identical normal and you know what each direction looks like for the character. If you’re expecting a TAC, know what all of the TAC attacks look like, and they tack it onto a basic MMH, you get enough warning to counter at better than a 50% success rate.
I’m curious if the damage amount shows both the “raw” and base damage this time, instead of just the “raw” damage for multi-hit attacks.

wow that is awesome it is so much thicker than the vanilla one! i don’t even care about getting the game until tuesday but i want to start reading the guide right now! i have been annoying the crap out of gamestop, bestbuy, and walmart over the phone trying to find one of these early.
That’s why I call the UMvC3 guide the Ultimate New Testament of just New Testament.

So my guide that I ordered yesterday from Gamestop with overnight shipping shipped today. If you want it before release date I highly recommend doing this, but only if it’s really worth it to you. You’ll save a lot by getting it through Amazon, but you most likely won’t get it until Thursday. I guess it was just important enough to me that I felt getting it on Saturday would be a big help. Good luck all finding it! This thing looks BEAST!
Why is Amazon getting this so much later than everywhere else?
Amazon gets it on Tuesday just like everywhere else, but Amazon has to mail it to you.
I should have mine this evening…gamestop actually shipped it out yesterday.
Amazon supposedly gets it Wednesday actually. Not to say that doesn’t mean they’ll start shipping Tuesday though, they’ve done it before.
Also, @ Clockw0rk (If you ever happen to read this again) HAI DER! hope you slipped my Phoenix throw combo into the guide lol (I hope it still works for that matter =/). Also, I take it Doom has a reworked section from your knowledge? I already know you wrote Strider lol
Also, for all you Gamestop folks, the guide appears to be ready for shipping as of today. That might offer some hope for stores too I suppose.
Just went to my local GS and they didn’t have it. Told me to wait until the game came out… =_=

Dang, I noticed Wolverine has no alt in the pages released on Capcom’s website, I was really hoping we’d get alts for everyone. I wonder who all got left out.
Outside of the Rocket Raccoon section (obviously) the main thing I want to see from the guide are the DLC costumes.
