Brady KOF 12 Strategy Guide

I’m either picking this up, or fat princess…
That I do not know. I’ll check if my local gamestop has a copy 1st.

this is a great guide especially for beginner players (thats me!). thnx

Anyone know where i can order online that wont take 10 days to ship?

Nice to have you

Roommate just picked up the guide, can’t wait to get home…

No luck finding it here on the shelves in Canada. One of my local EB Games said they’d only gotten 3 copies of the game itself, forget about a strat guide. They didn’t even know one existed.

Gonna have to grab it online, unfortunately. =\

You in the GTA? cause if you are i will end my quest too lol.

I may be a noob but I’d like to throw in my two cents. I think the guide is really helpful and is really in depth. Its all really clear and concise and easy to understand. Its not common that you can pick up a guide and understand the system mechanics on a first read.

Naw, Winterpeg. You’ll definitely have a better chance finding it than me. Did you check Chapters/Indigo/whatever they’re calling themselves now? None of the stores here have it in stock, but at least there’s a listing for it, not to mention it’s available at chapters.ca.

Just picked it up … you guys did a great job!

This is definitely gonna help a KOF noob like myself =) always liked the series but never got deep into it until now

I picked up the guide when I bought the game last week, and never read it till today and WOW. This is one of the best strategy guide I’ve seen, and I recommend it to all KOF XII players to get it. GOOD JOB

Checked out my friend Logos’ guide. Has to be one of the better fighting guides I’ve ever seen. Prob snag it just to have on hand next time I’m in a game store.

Very helpful guide. I wish they would make a similar one for blazblue.

Totally agree. This is my first KOF and my pal, who is a seasoned Iori player, keeps handing my buttocks to me on a cheap foam plate. This guide could change that (along with some solid pratice of course)

yeah no luck finding this in edmonton anywhere, (gamestop, eb, hmv, etc), had to order it online through chapters/indigo.

Just got the guide and the game today and I’m liking it so far. Got a lot of reading to do tomorrow and hopefully by the time I feel comfortable playing competition, the online will be fixed.

I bought the guide at Barnes&Noble, very nice. Really helped me with Joe and upping my game with Terry too, and helped me understand the new Sie a lot more though I suck with him. Gonna check out the section on Chin too. As an aside, I thought the guide’s suggestion of zoning constantly with Hurricane Upper to be odd b/c theres always the threat of sousai, but I guess mixing up the speeds, and doing them at less than predictable intervals evens things out. The strat for Joe did work against my friend though.

Just wanted to throw my two cents in.

As somebody who has dabbled in fighting games forever but only recently began to take them seriously this guide is beyond awesome.

A huge section in front explaining all the mechanics (different types of jump/hop, CC, guard crush etc.) followed by very in depth strategies for every character.

Not just basic combos either, every character has a devoted section to his/her options at long, medium and short range as well as the best options to get in and really start doling out punishment.

Great stuff, thanks a bunch guys.

Ordered from Amazon, got it in 2 days, and I paid less than cover price.

The guide is really good. Especially helpful I found was the Shen Woo section with frame pics of when to input. If this was around before I would’ve picked up Shen Woo a lot sooner than I did.

Really good job. Mad props.

Ordered from eBay. Very insightful, a must for beginners.

I’m new to taking fighting games a lot more seriously (I joined SRK 5 years ago when I had a couple of cats I used to play), and I wish these guys wrote every single guide for fighting games.

shit all of r hyping up this guide so much i wanna see how good it actually is… the coolest thing i’ve heard so far is frame pics for shen’s qcb+B… that is awesome… never heard of a guide doing that… i’m really interested to see how well it’s written …however i’m not gonna buy it cause i need to save for my neogeo stick 2 and i don’t play shen… lol… i know my characters pretty much inside out but just wanna see how well the guide did at explaining what to do with them… so if anyone in the toronto area has it i wanna see it…
