I’ll be confirming foreign attendance this weekend and announce ASAP next week.
I’m hoping Sako comes FINGERS CROSSED
I am thinking of bringing a setup for CvS2 for BYOC. So hope theres hype…
So how do we pay this $10 venue fee. I’m totally down for a venue fee, I ain’t no free loader. Will we be able to pay at the door? I won’t be able to come on Saturday or Friday due to work, but will definitely show up Saturday evening and Friday to spectate.
You can pay on site at the door and receive the wrist band that gives you access.
Do you know if you can still park in this area even if you didn’t book a room?
last I was in that neighborhood there was an empty parking lot in front of what used to be a Mervyn’s across the street near Big5 sporting goods. Don’t know if they put a Kohl’s there since then, but there is a big shopping center there that borders on being a mall. Hopefully there should be plenty of parking. The embassy suites parking is pretty decent.
Behind the Safeway there is a Cheese Steak Shop that is pretty bomb and also a Tung Kee Noodle in the area. Also some new restaurants across the street. It’s looks like a really good location. I have family that live in the area.
Thanks for the info, I live about an hour from this so I’m just driving on both days, should save me from driving in circles early in the morning.
There’s also an IHOP within walking distance, and an Asian Grocery store (with a food court thing), Quiznos, and McDonalds somewhere down the road.
so i cant bring my wife to cheer me on for free?
whats the best way to get there by public transportation? im coming from San Fran. im thinking the best is to take the Bart to Fremont then catching the AC transit bus to the Great Mall. anyone know if theres a better route that gets closer to the embassy suite?
Someone asked me about spectating fees for kids and babies. Anyone under the age of 12 are exempt from the fee.
anyone out there still looking for a team for the NCR 3v3s? my team needs one more member.
i support the “no freeloaders act” for ncr.

We will not be providing sticks for use but there is always a ton of players with sticks that are willing to help out if you just ask nicely.
That’s probably your best bet. Take the 217 bus from Fremont BART station. You will have to walk a few blocks to the hotel from around Great Mall. I used to do similar trip from East Bay to Milpitas and that’s pretty much the route you need to take.
Google maps says there is a Line 217 stop that is a 6 minute walk away from the hotel.
