i am a manny fan. dlh always came off a douchebag when he tries to pretend hes a good guy…unlike mayweather who potrays to be an asshole but actually in the end comes out looking like a good guy.

mayweather is smart, he plays up the villain role to such a degree people pay to see him get his assbeat. i think though that perception changed after hatton, the bandwagon just grew on his side and people are like fuck…he’s too good…i hate him but i dont him as much as i used to. plus after the hatton fight he gave hatton madd props…and didnt diss him out like media and mayweather fans did. i mean after watching him get koed by the rope and mayweather and his girl hurling lol…u dont need to add insult to injury. ive always been a mayweather fan…and i respect his swagger. he is about the money hence he plays up the villain role, but he plays smart and knows what needs to do to have a lasting legacy where in 20 years. he can claim he was one of the great ones or a legend whereas dlh can claim he was just one of many great ones.

Margarito and Pacquiao shouldn’t be mentioned in the same sentence. Manny moving up to 47 was a “One- Time” deal to fight the biggest money maker in boxing. Forget Hatton, the bigger fight everyone wants to see are the two number one pound for pound fighters:

he couldn’t time Manny. Lets not get it twisted, Oscar is “NOT” a puncher. He is more of a boxer that looks robotic and not loose as a fighter with so many big fights should look. Manny’s speed was confusing Oscar, faints, head movement, in and out, side to side. Making Oscar turn. Oscar hasn’t fought a southpaw since Pernall Withaker. Oscar couldn’t waste punches that would hit nothing but air and open himself up for Manny’s counterpunch ( lungeing straight left). Manny’s handspeed was too much for Oscar.

Floyd has grown into 147. And Floyd will be on the “A” side in the contract negotiations ( but by not much). So Floyd will make Manny go up to 47, I don’t think Floyd could make 40.
I feel bad for Oscar in a way. I’ve got a chance to meet Oscar last year in a fight card in Sacramento, CA and shook his hand. My wife and my brother’s wife both took pictures with Oscar and Oscar looked genuinely happy to meet his fans. I do feel bad for talking shit about him “handpicking” a smaller fighter in Pac and then seeing Oscar get his ass beat from pillar to post.
Oscar can move on with his career, not in a long time, though. he has too much pride to end it with a TKO loss. Boxing will probably not have a fighter like Oscar again. I remember back in '92 when he won the gold medal in the Olympics and watching his early career as a kid. I grew up watching Oscar and remember his fight with Julio Cesar Chavez that pissed off my childhood friends whom were Mexican. Chavez passed the torch to Oscar and now Oscar passed it to Manny Pacquiao.

so if manny vs. floyd does go down, mannt will have to go to 147 again. i’m kinda surprised at the weigh-in and oscar’s weight during the fight. didn’t expected pacman to be heavier than him. and it seems like pacman can really fight at 147. he doesn’t seem to lose a step tonight.
and yeah, it really looks bad for oscar, trash talking manny like that before the fight then being completely dominated. i rooted for manny, but never did i expected such a one-sided match. all my worries disappeared after the second round.
