Pac was tee’ing off on Diaz. Diaz showed a lot of heart, but Pac’s hand and foot speed was way too much, as predicted. As a fellow southpaw, seeing Manny using his right hand was a joy to watch.
Pac could face Oscar de la Hoya at the end of this year, but don’t count on it. A fight with Ricky Hatton would be a good fight. And the same questions could be asked again weather Pacquiao could carry his power up “Another” weight division. I heard some fights on Setana and they are very biased towards their own country’s fighters. Khan is a hype job with a “factory made” undefeated record and has never been tested yet. This year hasn’t been kind to prospects. A fight with Juan, Julio or David Diaz or Michael Kitsidis, those fights would prove if Khan is a legit contender.

Pac vs. Hatton, why not. Junior-welter is another five pounds north of Pac’s 135 lightweight division. Their styles make exciting fights and, on paper, Hatton is not that much bigger than Pac and Pac rehydrates to around 145 at the time of the fight. Pac’s promoter would probably make a fight with only Hatton in 140, not with some of the naturally bigger guys. Both fighters bring very passionate fans and would fill up an Las Vegas arena easy. Pac may fight again at the end of this year. Hatton has to get by Malignaggi in November ( which he should, imo).
But he isn’t a legit contender, he would just get exposed fighting these individuals.
As one filipino who doesnt want to ride pac’s nuts, i gotta say im happy he brought the knock out. It was odd not seeing him do his best the last couple of fights.
