There is reason to make this request because there is now a lot of doubt surrounding Pacquiao, whether that is Pacquiao’s fault or not isn’t the question. Pacquiao should really jump at the opportunity to set the record straight. If I’m going to be honest his reaction ( Pacquiao’s) makes me suspicious of him.
Many boxers would agree to such a request, many boxers believe Pacquiao should comply with the blood test. The amount of blood they’re taking will have no effect on his performance. The same tests are used in the olympics as I said earlier they did not stop Ussain Bolt smashing the world records.
Pacquiao is not the only one saying blood draw affects their performance. Whether or not it actually makes them weaker isn’t the question. The point is, it’s effecting them mentally. And many say the mental aspect is just as important as the physical aspect (even more so in boxing than in track). So if it effects him mentally, then yes, it is a possibility that could effect his physical performance.
I’m on the fence about Manny. Its true that mentally if you believe something makes you weaker, it will. They only took 6 cc’s though so I’m not buying that it made his arm weaker. Maybe his psyche. Either way I don’t think there was any way he was going to beat Morales that night. He on the other hand after the fight still had to explain to an entire country why he lost.
Roach on the other hand knew what the deal was the entire time. Why wait until 2 days before the fight for an examination? He would’ve known if Nevada had the information they needed in order to make the fight sanctioned or not.

last time i checked, being mentally weak and ignorant wasn’t a valid excuse not to do something. and the only documented demand mayweather has made was drug testing. also, pacquiao is the one that left the negotiating table leaving arum to scramble and come up with excuses for him.

I seriously doubt Floyd believes in his mind that Pacquiao can beat him. I don’t think Pacquiao can beat Mayweather I actually think the match up will be easier than his fight with Zab Judah because he can constantly stay out of Pacquiao’s range due to his reach advantage.
