Marquez is tough but too slow for Mayweather. Floyd can do everything he does but just faster and more precise. He’ll get peppered all night. Mosley, maybe Pacquiao are the only ones that can beat him at WW right now. Too bad Mosley and him won’t fight since they both have to be the star of the show.

Oh I cant wait for the fight. Floyd got the skills to take this pretty easily but Marquez got the EXP and will to give Floyd some trouble. Overall though I just want to see a good fight.

edit: Okay so I just looked it up and I was right they were schedule to fight at 144 however the article I read said Mayweather weigh in at 146. It says since he over he has to send a six figure portion over to Marquez.

I’m not all that hyped on Pac/Cotto; i probably will be when the fight gets closer but the whole Pac/Cotto was a let down too me because i really wanted to see a FMW/Pac or a 3rd JMM/Pac match.

Guys, I think JMM actually has a chance at hurting PBF. Floyd is easily the most skilled in the sport, but I think he might have a weakness for mexican body shots. This will indeed be an awkward fight, because Floyd has never really fought another counterpuncher like JMM (unless you count Baldomir or Castillo, both of who are bums in comparison to PBF).
I don’t know what it is… I just have this feeling that Marquez is going to make it Floyd’s toughest fight to date. I honestly don’t feel that Floyd has really fought the BEST. Tonight is a different story.

I agree that Marquez is the best fighter that Floyd has ever fought. Marquez has very good stamina. He will not fade and is known to rally mid-late rounds so Marquez will be there for all 12 rounds.
The logical prediction is Mayweather by UD, but we’ll see. Marquez is not of those fighters that can’t be beat so easily. The whole fight card tonight is damn good.
I know theres a lot of Mayweather hate, but Im still rooting for him. What can I say, I like his style.
