Damn, didn’t know anyone else besides me was interested in Nova with everyones “derp whos nova, herp he looks boring,” etc.
I think he looks sick, and can’t wait to play him, I’ve loved Nova as a character since I started reading his stuff a coupple years ago!!

The fact that such an outfit actually exists, and they went with both the red and brown, makes it worse…

Plasma beam was faster, safer, and had more durability in vanilla, but Unibeam had that delicous quality of just holding the enemy in place.
On Nova, can anyone confirm if his jS causes a hard knockdown (foot dive style).

If Nova ends up taking Tasky’s spot, he’ll be in the second slot. He doesn’t seem to have the type of assists you’d call off of general purposes, but that powered DHC could prove valuable for killing two characters. I’ll sacrifice half a character to catch and kill 2 if it seems doable (not that I’d purposely soak damage). Plus having an invincible hyper in the second slot ain’t a bad thing (especially if you can control it for whatever reasons and make it safer on goof ups).
And if I feel like going for a TAC, that tag in to fly combo to hardknockdown to self OTG might be kinda… juicy~

See, here’s my problem. I really like the black and gold color, but I see so many kids thinking they’re cool online with their all-black Wesker/Dante/Akuma (soon to be Vergil) teams that I’m reluctant to use it. Not to mention, Iron Fist doesn’t have a black color.
That’s mostly my issue. I hate having to race the character select screen for my colors…

If I was dedicated enough (it is just a color, after all), and didn’t know the game was already finished, I’d try to get them to include it.
Only hope now is for a pack of DLC colors, or that the costumes themselves come with alts.
So yea after watching the ultimate assist me vid I am led to believe that we are gonna get PW and Nova next week(PW is confirmed, Im just assuming its gonna be paired with Nova) which should be cool since we haven’t really gotten a chance to see either of these characters in the hands of a good player. Plus maybe we can finally see how much damage nova’s hypers do when charged up to their 3rd levels.
As for his alts, the only real bummer for me is the omission of any actual white alts, guess ill have to make do with his american alt. But he has one of the most badass black alts in the game, and overall a decent selection of colors so color co-ordinating prolly won’t be a problem. I do wish they had made the brown one sleeveless like its inspiration. I think it woulda worked but what do i know?
I would of loved the Green Lantern nod/troll/ode ALT. I love GL, so having the Marvel equivelent Nova with GL colors would have been awesome.
Anywho, I’m going to my comic warehouse today to pickup Nova:Annihilation vol.1 and Nova Corps.vol.4. And maybe pick up the single issues, if the vendors aren’t charging too much for each one. His volumes are mostly out-of-print, which sucks because it’s time consuming to pick up all of the 36 issues of Dan Abnett’s run on Nova. Marvel said they’re bringing him back in a big way for 2012, so I’m hoping they release all 36 issues as a collected harcover. It’d be so much easier.
I don’t think that his Infernova hyper drains red life. It hasn’t been shown doing so, IIRC.
was anyone else expecting a purple armor/ red helmet alt? capt falcon.
