Hells Yeah Andrew!!! It was really awesome that u were doing things that I would do in a lot of situations (in terms of spacing & using the same moves). What I want you to work on is your movement. In the realm of Tekken, movement is the number 1 fundamental to master in order to be a really good Tekken player. It is a 3 Dimensional game, so use that environment you are playing on to your advantage by using side-steps, side-walks, forward dash cancels, & most importantly Back Dash Cancels (BDCs). If you need any help on this stuff, let me know & I’ll be more than happy to do so. Alisa has some of the best, if not the best movement in the game. It’s tough to fight her b/c it’s difficult to catch her. Use that to your advantage! :tup:
Also Andrew, stop using that weak sauce uf/4,4 juggle you always do. Here’s a few of my staples:

OK guiz i bought KOFXIII and I should be able to whoop on you guys in that… It took a few minutes in practice mode to get all the timing back but for the most part i can play it again… boy is elizabeth cheap! if she hits the ground before you do free desperation move time~

@Christopher went to the dark side lol. Vergil is so annoyingly good. I learned some strider tech while I’m gone and I just want to make a brand new zero team as well. There’s no way I’ll practice AE but I’ll play.

Hey guys, relatively new to SRK.com but have been playing a decent amount of umvc3 with a friend of mine. He and I are the only ones that we know who play, so it would be cool to meet some other people who play.
We are a bit older (both of us 29) and work full-time but if you guys get together in the evenings, we might be able to meet up for some fights. Where/when do you guys usually get together?

We meet up at my house on most of Friday nights from 730 and onward. We usually have two or more setups when we have more people, and our second setup is usually UMVC3. You and your friend are both more than welcome to come and hang out.

Josh: Hahaha. That is too funny my good sir. It looks like Raphael hit ya w/ that True Blood mix-up. In a campy, yet intriguing way you got hit w/ that vampiric touch ever so gently Josh & could not get away. 
I was thinking about other characters I’d wanna use & I’d have to say that Viola will be on the top of the list for me for sure. From what I have seen so far, it looks like she has a very annoying poke game w/ that Freddy Krueger claw of hers up close, yet she can still space opponents out very well at range w/ that stupid-ass crystal ball of hers. I figure this irritating style of her play is exactly right up my alley. :lol:
@damdifino Theres definitely more sticks for 360 than there are for ps3 at our games. Tekken 6 is the only game that we really play on the ps3, umvc3 and kofxiii and ssf4ae are all played on 360. Controllers wise, what will for sure be there every time is my dual system TE, noodle’s ps3 TE, noodle’s dualshock, and noodle’s hitbox. If theres going to be a 360 there, there will be at least 2 TEs (and I can bring my 360 SE) to be able to play on that. Sooo, if you wanna bring the system and games and your own stick, extra controllers wouldnt be needed, and if you wanted to play on the 360 theres controllers enough for you to jump on someone else’s while they arent playing.

@Josh I’m working on getting that game room for us currently. Derek said he’d be willing to bring a setup, but it seems like we’re growing pretty quickly.I feel like it’ll get to be a bit much to have all these people at your place soon.
I’m pretty hype for SC:V but I have no idea who I’d want to play in that game. Of course I love my speedy females so I’m looking at Natsu and Leixia, but I’m also liking the way Xiba looks. We’ll see when the game comes out.
@damdifino: I bring my 360 TE to gatherings as well. I don’t know if you play on pad or stick but just throwing that out there.
That being said, I don’t know how many setups we’ll have for sure. Derek SAID he’d be willing to bring his setup this Friday, so someone Facebook him before Friday.
