But yeah, PF fixed all of BR3’s crap and then some so you should definitely pick it up and enjoy yourself. :tup:
Yeah, Uranus is ridiculous in BR3 vanilla; however they gave her good nerfs in BRPF so she’s still top tier but fair now. For example, she can still aircancle in human form but her combos have massive damage scaling. Also a lot her bounces no longer work, etc. She’s still good but now Chronos is the best character in the game (who is also fair).
yeah, you should use BRPF as the tourney standard. There’s some BR3 tourney vids I linked in the thread in the strat section by the Japanese but I think they only reason they didn’t use PF is because its not arcade.

nah man the gado infinit was 66B, 214B (cancel) looped but the timing on the cancel and the 66B was so fine it was almost impossible without some sort of programable controler
Not sure about Yugo (as I know he has some of the best high priority in the game, doubt Shenlong would be able to six-ring lockdown) but definitely better than Shina and Gado. His only drawback was they graciously made him take damage like a bitch; he had the six-ring combo, had repeated elbow cancel for pressure (cheap), his beast form throw was untechable, he did good single hit damage even though he’s a string/combo-based character, had good Air cancels and ground juggles, and let’s not forget nearly unavoidable guard breaks into heaven command kick or other stuff.
There is no question he is above those two.

Yeah Yugo was pretty dumb. Just had some really silly bounce stun loops/combos off of 1PP and he attacked fast as hell/. And 1PP led to pretty much anything.
But after watching the vid yeah repeated guard elbows is stupid. Do people not test their games? The fuck is wrong with these fucking japanese?
I still maintain that BR2 was the best one with the least amount of bullshit.
But you know…basically half the cast in BR3 was tops IMO. As in they ALL had some serious bullshit. That’s the one game where I feel tiers don’t matter but in the reverse kind of way.
Not cuz the game is balanced. But because the game is overly unbalanced. Everyone had some stupid shit. Long had a regrab infinite as I recall off his command grab.
i think bloody Roar 3 was more balanced than people are giving it credit for, im not saying it was perfect, but in some ways it was better than Primal Fury, and thats what pisses me off BR4 could have been a great game take the good from 3 and the good from PF and build on it, instead we get that trainwreck of a game… bad times man bad times
Seriously, I have NO idea what it was about that version (Primal Fury) that made it the best in the franchise, at least for me. Bloody Roar 3 on the PSX sucked, and I really, really hated Bloody Roar 4.
