Bloody-Knuckles: The "Main Event" featuring TW Season 1 Finals 2/28/2010 3:00pm

Everything was running through a powered splitter though, so there couldn’t have been any lag IMO. I’ll have to spend some time testing it out, but all my equipment is still packed up

To be honest, I didn’t notice any lag on any of the setups with the exception of that one HDTV that was in the Blazblue/GG area. Everything else was perfectly fine (at least to me it was).

For you CRT ppl, no complaining about spacing. You’re playing a 16:9 game that gets readjusted to 4:3…

Not… quite.

Also: I’m pretty sure that drama is over, so uh, calm down.

I know it’s the same resolution, but it’s just a personal issue. A very minor one, but the fact I practice the spacing on a square and then implement it on a rectangle just throws me off. The lag is fo realz though plz blv.

^this please

also good shit on that video slash! even better that nobody pointed a goddamn camera at me ALL NIGHT!!! though I am lurking in a couple shots.

Well…I do have a video of you using TIO…

It’s just as awkward when going from rectangle to square. I just have the EVO monitor because that is the closest thing to “official”. Even if it has lag, I’ll just adjust to “official” lag.

True. It’s just that nobody else has to deal with that, I’m always the one with the handicap. Hence, personal issue. Those monitors are okay, though. Big HDTVs are super gross, though. It’s not like SFIV has appealing graphics~

EDIT: Maybe I should practice on the PC version so it uses my computer monitor? <_<

my big samsung to my experience doesn’t have (much) lag. but i haven’t played this game on a crt really. but other people that have played on my tv haven’t ever complained about it (except for when we had game mode off). i think also the brand of the monitor/tv you have as well as the input you’re using makes a big difference. like when pat’s game mode on his hdmi input on his sony tv didn’t help at all but the component inputs were just fine.

tight video mike

It’s really easy to tell if a TV has lag…start any match and twitch the stick up…if you notice any delay…there is lag…I notice it on any non CRT…it has nothing to do with the dimensions of the tv…for the most part it doesn’t affect my combos…I do admit when I first got to BK I went to Training mode and hit up the loop a bit just to accustom my mind to the difference…after a handful of matches it just stops affecting my timing…but there is some input lag on all non CRT’s because of the processing that is necessary…

That vid is tight…I just like how any vid of the grand finals has me lookin through an art book…a testament to my hate of Balrog…or gross mirrors…

BK2 already has me hype…
