Glad I was able to make it out for the endof this - wish I’d been able to throw down some Fuerte in Singles but Elias brought it out a bit and I got to see the end of his match so that was tight. Great show HSP, 80 man bracket is crazy.
I sent you a PM as well.
Thanks for setting this whole venue up, HSP! Really awesome. I’m kinda bummed that I couldn’t stay to battle for 1st place, but that’s ok! I’m happy that I got 3rd regardless of that fact. This only leaves room for more food in my stomach (see HUNGRY). Good matches all around especially to Bokkin and Frank; more TW revenge matches. GGG! (good game guys!)
I hope you find what you’re looking for, Ray, and that your trip goes well. Good shit sir, good shit. I was caught off-guard to see Guile mirrors on the finals projector. But to be honest I was stoked to not see Ryu or somethin’.
Francis! I will personally drive you home next time if you stay for the whole thing! Sleep at my place, I’ll drive you across the edmonds-kingston ferry which is like 2 minutes from my house and that’s close to Bremerton right!? At least somewhat. Would’ve liked you see you defend your winner’s bracket spot.
Ha thanks man! That made me lol. Dugg would be tight name for a pet turtle. I saw some of your Honda up on the big screen btw. Pretty beastly Sir!
HSP you are stunning.
LOL if only everyone saw that! hahahahaha good to see/meet the portland crew, hope you all got back safe and good luck to ray you are gonna be missed man! but what a way to go out hahaha
this event was FUCKING tight. nuff said, whens the next one? hahaha
I had fun!
This guy up here ^---- Fking GDLK on the stream
Coming from you, that is the biggest understatement of the year.
Honestly, if we could use that venue for on a semi-regular basis it would be very awesome. But I don’t know anything about them or whether or not they’d let us haha.
O rly? Are my matches up or something? I heard I did some tight ass shit, but I was too drunk to remember.
I haven’t really watched anything. Watched the guile dittos then laughed haha. I need to upload the stuff though.
Sall good, I’m in no rush. The world isn’t going to explode or anything.
yes it will… from the amazingness that is jared vs … well pretty much anyone that night
As awesome as that venue is/was, I’d hate to have to look for parking all the time over there. International District is ridiculous on free parking weekends.
GG to everyone I played, including Nick T, Frank, my homie Rus, and Brento. It was fun to come out and see everyone have a great time for a great event.
Sorry I had to pull my brother away after watching him play RBX. I would’ve loved to see him go for the crown as well, but seeing as how I was his ride, gah damn that shit ran WAY too late; I got into work real late today and subsequentially got WAY behind on the week’s projects at work. 70+ man tournament starting at 6/7pm, even with mutiple setups, was not the business.
Really? David’s suggestion of under I-5 on I think King street seemed dope to me. I got lucky and found a free spot there but there’s a pay lot for $2 all night on weekends. I simply don’t pay for parking but two bucks? Not bad at all.
sorry about how late it went, it was a drag to have to see someone forfeit winners finals because of the time. I’ve never done this before and without all of you I’d still be standing there trying to figure out the first match.
that is one aspect of last night that really did it for me, and I had to take a step back and just look at what I, we, had created. you all know the tag line for the show, “artwork created but the fighting game COMMUNITY”. and this event never would have happened without each and every one of you. the only sponsor that I got to help out for the event didn’t even show up or bother to give me a phone call. all those setups, they came from your houses. that stick you had to use to play your match, that was the guy over there’s.
good shit people! good shit.
the venue loved us, future events there can happen easy. if you want to make something happen there get in touch with me, or better yet go check out another event there and ask about becoming a member.
Bloody-Monthlies…nope that name isn’t going to work.
I’m just thinking a once/month or even not that frequently tourney would be well accommodated in that venue. Great space, with great room for setups and such and having a bar certainly doesn’t hurt. And having the projector setup for hype matches is awesome.
But Frank, then we could just refer to the tourney time as “That time of the month”.
