BLOODSTAINED: RITUAL OF THE NIGHT aka the Spiritual successor of Symphony of the Night

Is there beef with this game now? Early in the development people were praising it. Confused on why I got ‘LOL’s’ haven’t been keeping up so literally didn’t realize stuff went to crap if it has.

Just seen his tech vids showing off early footage that gets passed around the internet which he seems to do pretty often.

Because you called him Inafune you silly ass mofo

Lol, Igarashi. Completely typed without thinking.

IGA and Ben Judd will be on Twitch.tv/twitch Wednesday, June 15 at 3:30 PM PDT! They’ll be joined by Igavania expert and launch stream MVP romscout as well as MAN (as in MANvsGAME).

Huh… Looks better than Mighty No Scam, animates well, keeps backers updated, and will appear in playable form at E3.

Iga doing things right.

Looks pretty good so far, although MN9 did as well before shit happened. Still, IGA and friends seem to be progressing well and the updates are welcome.

It’s cool that backers are getting a demo, but it’s for PC only? Damn, I hope my PC can run it, but I would have preferred PS4.

Looks like the Beta test later on is also only PC.

It would make no sense to have a beta or demo on anything but PC at the moment. For one, it doesn’t cost anything to publish a demo or beta on PC. There is also the fact that everything major at the moment is x86, which means if it’s going to run great on PC it should then run great on the other major platforms sharing the same architecture with a few minor tweaks here and there specific to those. Now we also have Vulkan API which is cross platform, so if they chose that as a rendering API then there won’t even be a need to port the graphics to another API.

Right now money should go to optimizing the base, releasing demos, getting feedback, and then once closer to going gold, release a beta on the closed platforms.

I missed this interview last year, campaign launch stream.

11 minutes of off-screen gameplay from E3 2016

The level up screen is cool. And I like the magic casting animation. I like what I am seeing. All I need now is the steam demo code.

Absolutely beautiful !

Take notes Inafune ya feckin scrab , this is how you make a videogame with kickstarter money.

the gameplay looks top-notch, animation and effects were impressive as well.
map and inventory is very SotN in aesthetic [which is cool] and the power-up sequence is good.
boss fight was kinda lackluster but what the heck, it’s a demo.

8/10 for me

If the final game looked and played like this I wouldn’t complain.

stream with iga. Speed runner compliments how tight the controls are

you can aim magic spells while running in the opposite direction, that’s cool.

LOL, the story is LITERALLY Order of Ecclesia, right down to the point of having a secret order using shards on a girl to summon the super demon lord.

Classic Iga, rehashing shit from before. Some people never fucking learn.

I mean, it’s not like we didn’t see the signs.

Miriam looks just like Shanoa, has amnesia just like Shanoa, has no emotions just like Shanoa, and has a body full of tattoos just like Shanoa.

Might as well go all the way and copy the story too, lol.

The first sign was it’s an Iga game. That was enough for me. I knew it was going to be rehashed from something he did before, but sadly this is rehashing his very last project to the point it’s almost copyright infringement. That’s one of the reasons I decided not to back this. Iga has a formula, and he never deviates. Ever.
