BLOODSTAINED: RITUAL OF THE NIGHT aka the Spiritual successor of Symphony of the Night

They usually send backers emails asking them what versions of stuff they want once the backing closes.

To expand upon this, after the Wii U stretch goal was reached, they said that once the kickstarter campaign was over, they’d send backers a survey, which will include a question about which version of the game you would want.

Ah will probably go PS4 then, was hoping to get a chance to see how much use they made of it’s power before deciding to go home console or portable but never mind.

Natsume’s redesign of Shovel Knight has been confirmed to appear in Bloodstained, it is unknown what role it will play though (enemy, boss, playable?)

Getting a little bored of these indie cross overs.

I pledged for the physical version! Only 24 hours to go.

Spoiler

The joke is it’s a circlejerk, you see.

It’s at currently 4.7 million with 150k of that being from Paypal and 22 hours to go. Here’s hoping they cross that 5 million mark by the end, the Roguelike dungeon mode has the potential to be amazing.

I was going to kick this for $100 because I wanted to be in the ego raptor guild and wanted a hard copy of the game but some shot came up o was expecting so I dropped it down to $27.

Plus I’ve never been the hugest fan of Metroidvania games but this one looks really really well done so I’m willing to give it a shot.

27? Why not 28? $28+ guarantees you a copy of the game.

That’s what I meant. I knew it was in the upper 20’s.

Edit: you have to kick $60 in order to get all the backer strech goals? Ew.

What other Castlevania games are worth playing available on the PSN other than SotN?

The Dracula X Chronicles for PSP (works on Vita as well) is on PSN. That has a Rondo of Blood remake, the original PC Engine Rondo of Blood, and Symphony of the Night. Rondo of Blood is ABSOLUTELY worth playing, especially if you like the old Pre-SOTN CVs.

Is the original Castlevania Chronicles on PSN? That’s got a Remake of Castlevania 1 and a slight update of said remake of Castlevania 1 on it.

OoE still the GOAT, btw how’s that coming along CP? Dual nitesco is the best weapon in the game they combo into each other for the most DPS.

Anyways so I’m confused what exactly is the $60 back only content? If I give $28 instead does that mean I don’t get classic mode, new game+, etc on PSV?

It’s on hold as I had started Symphony before buying OoE so I’m gonna finish that first. I’m almost done, only need two more Vlad parts and I’m right at Deaths door (har) to boot. Dunno if I’m gonna for the best ending as I don’t like the reverse castle enough to really feel motivated to go for the 180% map coverage you need i think it is.

It’s 196% map coverage. It’s really not worth the few lines of alternate dialogue.

lol yea I’m definitely not doing that.

lol I just started a new save about two weeks ago and messed around with it trying to do everything quickly but then I wasted a lot of time trying to max that shitty murasame. Best weapon in that game is the alucart sword and that whole set now that I think about it because using that gives you everything else lol. I bet if you do a luck run and use the wolf trick to get past death you can probably smash the game in a super short time maybe just taking a bit to farm two rings of varda for good measure.

Oh yeah noone will ever beat sotn faster than this lol

I recall that was posted on some site and everybody started complaining that using glitches was not completing the game.
