It’s cool that we get to see what happened to Ludwig (he turned into a big ugly monster) during the DLC. There’s also a theory that the potential final boss is the Doll or whomever the Doll’s likeness was based on.
If this is true, maybe we get some more lore on the Plain Doll. I’m super hype!

the doll always seemed somewhat sinister to me anyways.
Another theory, one that makes more sense than the Doll one, is that this hunter mentioned above has to with Cainhurst. His outfit looks closer to the Knight set you get from Cainhurst, and upon looking at the locket/broach, the hunter’s locket and the Doll’s locket are fairly different. Could the hunter possibly be the fabled student that left Byrgenwerth and brought blood to Cainhurst to create the Vilebloods? Or maybe it’s young Annalise (you don’t see her face in game, so maybe there’s a reason why)? Either way, I love all the theories coming out. Can’t wait to find out when the DLC releases.

Definitely gonna be trying a Bowblade build. That shit’s gonna be mad fun in both PvE AND PvP.
I wonder what kind of range the bow has to it since the arrows do a surprising amount of damage. Regardless, I’m definitely giving this weapon a run through.
Bow range appears to be pretty long, but the shots appear to scale with arcane and consume one bullet per shot. Full charge attack on the bow is absurdly long and doesn’t appear to be very practical in boss fights/PvP.
Jeez, they showed off so many new weapons or enchantments or upgrades or whatever. Bow Blade and whip sawblade look awesome.
I just started playing this yesterday. This game is so sick. I loved Dark Souls but this games combat is so much more fun and addictive to me.
Also, Cleric Beast? More like Cleric Bitch. And Gascoigne ain’t shit either (well ok he killed me twice and I was almost out of blood vials by the end of the fight). Didn’t know using the music box excessively triggered his transformation.
I’m going for a strength build for this first play through and I started with the axe. But last night I purchased the Kirk Hammer too but I’m regretting it. I think I should have just upgraded my axe.
Axe shits all over the Hammer.
The Axe is one of the best weapons in the game. It’s got insane reach, great damage, and a reeeetarded rally stat. The Hammer is, sadly no where near as good in these areas. In fact I kind of feel like the Hammer just…isn’t very good in general. I don’t have much time with it tho, so I could be wrong.
Honestly, with the stats it has, the Axe is crazy to have as a starting weapon lol.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday. I felt like I was just destroying the early game with it. The only challenge was Gascoigne and he wasn’t even that bad. My own stupidity and impatience made him harder than he really was.
