Bloodborne thread

Something i recently noticed…

My stamina recovers noticeably slower when i have both the cannon and pistol equipped (my standard sidearms of choice for pvp/pve).
If i remove the cannon and just use the pistol then the stamina recovers noticeably faster. It’s the same thing as DS1 & 2 where too much equipment
will slower your stamina recovery. Makes me wonder If you could speed up stamina recovery regardless of equipment by lvling up
endurance. I don’t think i’ll find the answer to this sometime soon , might have to try it myself or something.

That’s one level away from me… Let me know when you’re on.

Finally got around to beating that blood starved bitch with my Bloodtinge-skill build character.

Guess it didn’t take kindly to me jamming that Rifle-Spear into it’s ass.

And I did that shit without any antidotes.

Spoiler

Yeah I know it’s not that big of an accomplishment, just let me have this moment damn it!

It’s being worked on already, they are just waiting for the idiot to finish the playthrough which shouldn’t take long since he’s level 99 at this point I believe.

okay I just picked up Bloodborne. Anything I should know within the first few moments so I don’t get bodied?

Learn the iframes on your roll and quickstep.

Do not get lazy and make sure you read ALL of the notes on the ground. They tell you the controls and a bunch of other important details.

Explore and take your time.

It’s very very very important to know…that you are going to get bodied.

Just started. My body is not ready

Well shit. Got my ass kicked. I can’t fig out for the life of me how to equip Molotov cocktails.

Spoiler

How do you defeat this Rom bastard?

Attack him from the sides. He’ll try to rotate so you’ll hit his head where it has the most damage resistance. The spiders he summons can be ignored.[/details]

I got my own boss encounter woes

[spoiler=]Daughter of the Cosmos is a real pain in the ass. I think I’ve leveled too far as I can’t summon anyone to help me[/details]

Spoiler

Yeah I had a hard time against her too. She doesn’t feel like she should be that difficult but the extra tentacle swings and that REALLY ANNOYING charging attack are difficult to avoid. The latter I can almost never avoid properly =/

[Spoiler=]In my early battles against her I focus too much at attacking her head. It’s an obvious weak point but man does she punish you hard for a frontial assault. Attacking from her side and behind seem like the best bet but I haven’t been able to make her crumble to get any real damage in. Spend 3 hours on the bitch and haven’t made much progress.[/details]

ADD ME PEOPLE currently sl30 just started the second tombstone

Faced Father Gasicogne. Old man is a damn badass. Seeing him just swing the hunter’s axe is amazing. I always like fights like these the most. Vs bosses that are like yourself.

Vergil in DMC3
The Twins in Vanquish
Artorias in DS

Fight was hetic. The old fart is fast and relentless. He killed me. I rematched him. I knew about the music box but didn’t use it. When he went beast form, I threw two urns and one molotov. DEATH. That was the easiest part of the fight. But yeah, Hunter vs Hunter is the best shit ever. I never had so much fun in a From Software boss fight.

damn this game. I stay getting bodied. thse damn snipers and dogs are messin me up.

music box is for wusses anyway :fearful:
also it feels like i’m the only one who missed ebrietas in my first playthru, fml.

currently working on a chikage build , starting from scratch though.

The first time I did that fight, it was INCREDIBLE. I actually got the same feelings I got form MGR bosses

favorite MGR fight was easily monsoon for me , and i would put gascoigne in the same tier as that one. (godtier)
sure gascoigne got easier the more times you fought him , but boss is still gdlk.

It’s not like Monsoon is very tough either.
