depends on your definition of missable, if your asking if there are weapons that you can go through the dlc without running into⌠heck yeah there is. but if the question is there any weapons in the dlc where you actually MISS them after killing a boss and canât go back? no i donât think so.
Hereâs the result of me completely going HAM this weekend.
Always heard about these dex/arc builds being really fun. Even the great Gasa said so.
Decided it was time to try it out for myself and i was having a BLAST doing invasions.
[details=Spoiler]Moonlight Blade can be missed if you donât kill Ludwigâs head after defeating him as a boss. It will disappear after you progress more into the game. Make sure you talk to him first for some flavor before killing him though (also try talking to him in Church garb).
Simonâs Blade can be missed if you donât complete the Harrowed Hunterâs sidequest (I think). Talk to him in the Hunterâs Nightmare and tell him youâre fascinated with nightmares. Youâll see him pop up in zones after certain events (defeating Ludwig, raising the stairs in Research Hall). Once you reach the second lantern in the Fishing Hamlet, youâll see him there and he will give you his weapon and a key to a cellar.
I think you can miss Bloodletter if you donât complete the Harrowed Hunterâs sidequest, as you need the key he gives you at the end to kill Brador in his prison cell, who drops Bloodletter.[/details]
Thatâs it I think. The rest of the weapons you will likely find normally by just playing through the game.
Happened on my first run so I didnât really notice/remember. At the very least, NAP can just look up on the Bloodborne fextralife wiki to see how to get all the new weapons without being spoiled too much.
Ludwig whooped my ass so bad. I anât even get this guy down a quarter of his health. Now I am playing on NG+ so that might have a bit to do with it. Heâs a fucking damage sponge it seems, my +10 Holy Blade tickles the guy. Gonna have to summon SRK Reinforcements if this keeps up. That move where he grabs the ceiling and then drops on you. Cheap as fuck lol.
Dumb question but if you die and leave a pile of blood echoes somewhere do the enemies become actively more aggressive in order to prevent you from claiming them or something because it sure seems that way. Dudes that normally chill and let you sneak them are all of a sudden doing 3 hit death combos in shit lol. Seems to happen every timeâŚ
Nope. Sometimes enemies pick up your echoes though and you have to kill the enemy that picked them up. They will have glowing eyes if they have your echoes.
Oh yeah I know all about them claiming your echoes lol. I mean the AI specifically going ape shit on you in that situation, like regular dudes tanking blows that would normally stagger them and adding extra hits to their attacks.
Iâm saying in all the time he bitched about spoiler tags, and posting on the forums he could have played and been done with the dlc by now. Iâve put in maybe 10 hours, and Iâve explored just about everything in the main game. Without help. From what Iâve been told by friends the DLC isnât super fucking huge.
Also is there a way to fix the camera like in souls so you donât get raped when there are alot of enemies on screen and you are trying to run/evade them. Just got fucked outta 50k echoes cause the camera jumping around like its trying to look on to something when I am just trying to get to safety.
