Me and my friends went to donate blood today. It’s the third time I’ve ever done it, I donated the first two times while I was serving in the military so this was the first time for me as a civilian.

I’ve done it. I don’t think it was an experience worth making a thread about, but who knows. I do like how they asked me if I’ve been fucking Africans for about half the questionnaire.

I am O negative, I have been a blood donor for several years. I give 2 units at a time through the alyx system, so I every 3 months or so I sit in a chair for about 30 minutes. I don’t keep up that well with the days because if I forget to go in the blood donation section of the hospital I work for calls me and reminds me to give.
Here in Finland they only ask if you’ve had gay sex.

they’re always running blood drives at my school. i’ve done it like 16 times between red cross and lifestream. you can get hooked to the light-headed feeling after awhile.
I do it when it is convenient. Blood type is O positive. Wish I could do platelets too, but veins are too small.
