Mei is actually terrible at long range. Her alt fire has a slow rate of fire, mediocre projectile speed, and HUGE damage drop off. A head shot at sniper range is something like 30 or 40 damage. If you are counter sniping a Widow as Mei, that Widow is actually awful.
Pharah makes me want to rocket jump ala Quake 2. Sadly probably wonāt be picking up this game till June due to being an adult for the month of May.
Tracer, Lucio and Roadhog were my favorites, hands down. I had a blast in the beta, I canāt wait to play the shit out of this when it drops. Iāll upload some of my funnier moments once I get the footage off my PS4. Got a 12 kill streak as Tracer at one point, lol. I think I was born to play this character.
Me and @Gasaraki played a little and realized you get an XP boost when playing in a party. We definitely gonna have to form an SRK Squad.
When Overwatch reveal trailer came out I immediately said Reinhardt would be one of the best characters and it seems I was on the fucking money if one team has a competent Reinhardt and the other team doesnāt itās definitely an uphill battle heās just so GDLK at helping the team push or defend despite some characters like Reaper or Tracer easily getting around it his shield soaks up so much damage and is so big it really helps in almost any situation it makes the opposing team have to spend valuable time killing it and I donāt know the numbers, buit he seems to have decent damage and hitbox on his hammer too. Reinhardt+medic+any offense to shoot through shield is one of the most effective combos Iāve seen so far I always ask someone on my team to main him lol seems Zenyatta+Reinhardt is a great combo too because shield keeps Zen alive to use discord orb on enemy who Reinhardt can charge for insta kill after shield is gone.
@GreyFox86 Rocket jumping with Pharah isnāt as useful as youād think because her hover and and high jump have relatively short CDās and donāt require taking any damage lol, sheās not quite as straight forward as Blizzardās 1 star rating would have you believe sure you can have some moderate success just spamming her rockets, but if you learn to time her hover and jumps and really take advantage of the verticality of the maps she becomes like widowmaker with AOE.
Heās better on Defense letting people come to you. Flashbang+Fan the hammer takes out nearly everyone who isnāt a tank.

Iām liking the Beta. I do best with Mei and Roadhog. But I like to play Genji because I like dashing around and wall running like some nerd. Lucio is my go to support, but I prefer not to honestly.

I like using SWBeta on offense cause he sounds like a nerd on roids and he can harass people like Toblerone.
I just have played like 3 dozen games so far. Liking it. Been playing Tracer and Mercy mainly. Really liking Mercy, though I tried out Lucio and feel he might be a tad better just because his movement options arenāt as reliant on having smart teammates. Like when people spread out and the cover is right Mercy can just fly between everyone and cover everyone really well without much risk to herself. Her movement when it works is REALLY good, just if people bunch up or your in tight corridors you basically donāt have an enhanced movement option making you a sitting duck.
Iām normally not a support player, but playing with baddies Iāve actually been getting kills with her also which makes the play pretty dynamic which I like. Heal this person, buff this person, kill this low life straggler because someone failed in a 1v1 and left him at low health, ult just fucked some people up ->resurrect them all.
I like tracer but feel she canāt really push by herself to well because of her low life. Need to get her movement options down better and that might change, but right now she feels like it is her job to jump everywhere and try to engage in 1v1ās. REALLY good at 1v1 but i wouldnāt ever want to 2v1 with her even with healer support.
