Explosion should be Unohana. The medical chief types are usually are usually some of the strongest fighters (Tsunade, Kabuto), but I don’t think this writer will ever let Unohana brawl like that. It would be nice to see her go completely bananas and fight the real JB on some real G shit. That explosion is what happens when she moves her hair braid from the front to the back. Unohana is from the ‘hood. This bitch taking off her shoes, handing her hoop earrings to her assistant, and is puttin’ Vaseline on.
I also wouldn’t mind if that explosion was Captain Tuberculosis coming in to make his last stand. Dude’s bankai has to be some type of bio weapon that infects every spirit particle in the area with some fucked up disease, and that’s why he never uses it—and also how he got sick in the first place.
Like i said on the previous page, imagine that Aizen did all of this just to make Ichigo stronger because he IS the real King, and needs to be prepared for all the shit that is happening and all the shit that would come.

I stil lwant to know who the snitch is…there has to be one for information purposes…it has to be an old head too (like Unohana) because they seem to know so much about hte history as well. they even leaked info about the whole Aizen ordeal. Unohana is the only one who completely played the sideline for that AND for this. Maybe ‘The divisions’ killed her family or something? Thinking too much out loud, but there has to be an insider if you think about it.

I’d much rather prefer this part of the arc en with a full scale with drawal giving SS a chance to lick its wounds, assess who’s left and fully understand the magnitude of the moment. We have lots of people with ‘plot armor’ of some degree - labeled as ‘dead’, but we don’t know if they really are or not.
The LAST thing we should want is for it to be Ichigo or his pops. They’ll get peaced out quick.

During the beginning of this arc, I thought one of the people in the 12th division was a traitor/spy. In particular, I thought it was Akon. I never really noticed him until this arc, but apparently he’s been around.
Unohana being a spy would be so random. If she’s one of the OG captains that killed the Quincy, her being a traitor makes even less sense. Why would the Quincy trust her?
I so want to see Unohana, Shunsui, or Ukitake wreck shop. The only one that has done anything significant is Shunsui. Ukitake’s Shikai, while unique, doesn’t seem so great IMO, unless there’s more to his abilities than absorb/reflect attacks that has yet to be revealed.
IDK, i think Aizen didn’t like the system. He saw issue with it and wanted to fix it to what he felt was more fair.
More on Yama, Yama’s power is completely everything against what Soul Society and Shinigami stand for.
If his Bankai touches you, you dissapear forever, you aren’t reborn, your existence is extinguished, just like if a Quincy had killed you. He has the power to bring back those he has killed and banished into oblivion, he essentially has the power of God. Something which completely makes him a contradiction to what he stands for. Its not a stretch to say Yama can revive himself.
