1st SS needs to be destroyed and a lot of captains killed, the rest of the people
2nd The survivors blame Ichigo for not being there to save them, leaving him with no allies on SS, maybe with the exception of the vizards, rukia, renji and whatever captain that survives, but i wouldn’t be surprised if they blame him too. Bonus points if for some reason they make him their enemy on the war as well.
This would open the possibility of letting him with only Hueco Mundo as the only possible allies

The power levels make no sense (not that they EVER did). But somehow things got worse…
[details=Spoiler]Aizen was afraid of Yamma’s shikai (and Bankai) and wanted the powers sealed to avoid dealing with it altogether. Then Kenpachi beats Loyd who had the powers to copy abilities/powers but not so much appearance/memories. So Kenpachi beat the mirror match quincy. Then Royd who can mimic looks/memories but NOT powers only looked like Buckbeard and had Buckbeard’s memories. So Royd just as he is, in his base form but with a better mind and different appearance crushes Kenpachi. And Royd as a fake Buckbeard was able to take attacks from Yamma’s bankai and still whisper some words in death instead of being instantly killed. Then the real Buckbeard (Bach) is stronger than Royd, the fake. And the real Buckbeard has the “power” to steal and handle Yamma’s bankai. Then he attacks Yama and it looks bad for Yamma. Yet despite all this, Buckbeard tried recruiting an Aizen who was afraid of Yamma’s shikai and never saw the bankai, when Buckbeard’s fake got whooped but at least needed to be hit with a bankai to die. And despite it all, Aizen is still a war potential to Buckbeard. Using this crazy power scheme, the Royd, the fake was stronger than Aizen and the real Bach tried recruiting Aizen.
You can imagine Aizen trolling Bach despite being restrained and in risk of getting killed for his masterful trolling speeches. But Aizen probably couldn’t help it, turned Bach down and clowned him in the process. Or if Aizen already broke out and is in HM where Urahara is and left an illusion in the jail instead, that would be even more stupid.[/details]

ITs actually a safe assumption that Aizen HAD seen Yamma’s bankai as everyone seemed to know what was chapping their lips.
I also do have some faith in my theory that if Aizen’s shikai/bankai are water based, that Yamma simply activiating his bankai would shut shit down…like hitting someone with a combo breaker in KI before you actually get hit. I say all that to say Aizen more than likely feared Yamma because of the match-up - not because of the tiering.
Now with regards to Yamma verse fake-Jaha…he didn’t do ANYTHING beyond ‘scared rape faces’ and dodging a few attacks…Yamma went all out cause he thought he needed to and because he was pissed.

The problem with Aizen seeing Yamma’s bankai is that he is too young. Yamma used it attacking the quincy group 1000 years ago and then spent that time improving it. Unless Aizen was somehow alive back then and hiding in the shadows, he came later. From there, he’d have to keep spying on Yamma when he was training to improve his bankai. Case in point, the quincy know a lot about Soul Society and obviously have been collecting intelligence. Yet for all their intelligence, they still didn’t know Yamma’s bankai like they should have known. Despite their spying (look how easy they can get into SS), their data was old and outdated. So Aizen would have to have even better intelligence than Buckbeard to fully know how much Yamma’s bankai evolved. There’s no doubt people know Yamma’s spiritual pressure, but I bet several characters in Bleach have kept or tried to keep some moves hidden.
Aizen has a sensory zan. He said back in the SS arc the mist/water stuff was a lie to cover his real powers. If Aizen was an elemental type, he simply would have his powers evaporated or distorted just by Yamma using his powers. I think that’s not the case and why Yamma let Aizen stab him to get a lock on Aizen’s location during the fight. If he could simply negate Aizen’s powers, then it wouldn’t have mattered that Yamma was “hypnotized” back in the SS arc. While everybody else would be stuck in hypnosis unless Aizen freed them from the spell, Yamma could just negate any water/mist and free himself.
You’re not factoring in that yama gii is a counter pick to everyone.
Yes Aizen was worried about his bankai, but so was everyone else, Juha bach didn’t fight him either he did the same thing aizen did. At this point its pretty obvious that being concerned about the old man’s bankai says nothing about your power level since he in Bankai is by far the mos tbroken character seen thus far in this series. How in the world did you figure that Royd is stronger than Aizen? He almost literally did nothing, whatever happened with Kenpachi happen off panel, and Aizen was already stronger than Kenpachi, so what are you basing any judgment on Royd off of the fact that he didn’t die immediately when hit by yama’s Bankai? The only thing your can infer about Royd from his fight with Yamamoto is that he is clearly stupider than both Aizen and Juha since he though he could fight the old man while he still had his bankai.
Also these still no actual account of what happened to kenpachi.
The other noticable thing about this chapter is that Juha has more regard for his men, Aizen wouldn’t have told anyone to wait for him to get back before attacking, whoever got sent to fight Yama would have been a pawn for that purpose from the start.
Also why are people still saying Aizen’s sword is a water type? The original source of that information was Aizen and Aizen already said years ago that he was lying when he said that.
Honestly Bach WAS there, so its very possible Bach beat Jenpachi then started camping out to get his hands on a pair of Air Aizens (obviously he’s going to be on eBay hitting up some resellers but thats besides hte point)…at which point instead of doublig up to get two pairs, he had his boy stand ground for him. so with everything being off panel, we don’t know.

From what has been shown, Royd has shown higher durability than the regular Aizen (that transcendent stuff is another story). Aizen was cut by a regular swing from Shinji’s shikai and Royd casually tanked Kenpachi swinging hard down on him and wasn’t cut. Plus Royd being able to stand in front of Yamma’s bankai without being turned into ash is very impressive. In contrast, Aizen was trapped in a shikai flame prison and didn’t try to get out until the flames were blown out. Unless Yama has some other ultimate move up his sleeve, there’s no shame dying by Yamma’s strongest attack. Going back to Aizen, it seemed like the flame prison was too much to even try to escape and if Yamma didn’t cover the flames produced by his shikai, Aizen and the rest of the Fake Karakura town would have been toast. Without the Hogyoku jacking up Aizen’s strength, spiritual pressure and durability, he was no match for Yama’s shikai and probably would have turned into ash just by the bankai coming out.
