You can tell this arc was just kinda thrown together at the end of things lol.
I’m sure his bankai is that he’ll use intelligent tactical decisions in battle. To answer your question, NO. He hasn’t shown it yet.

I already said it in the last Bleach thread what his Bankai is (but now with more detail):
His sword emits puffs of fire smoke that covers the field with a huge gigantic cloud of fire farts. Enhaling invades your lungs and you’re stuck with the smell of 100,000 year old fart. More than likely burn your lungs before you even get a true whiff of its power.

why am I not surprised? The moment I saw that flash back, I was like, damn this bitch about to die. Well at least we know one thing, even though they posses the Bankai, its weakened for whatever reason. And we know that killing them with nothing but Shikia is very possible, and that Byakuya was being a lazy fuck
I’m glad that guy got even a small flashback because he damn sure shouldn’t be remembered for anything that happened whenever he released his sword
The last words of the chapter were similar to the release words for his zanapkuto, not that he would need to use them. Not sure if he said something different or if its just a translation difference.
Bankai is weakened because they have never practiced them, they have the base power of a bankai but the Quincy’s control over them is probably sketchy at best, its like when Renji used his bankai for the first time against Byakuya, he still had a bankai but byakuya was still dismissing his chances of winning because Renji didn’t know how to use it yet. Stealing bankai is a huge advantage but using a stolen bankai against a captain probably won’t work.

You are forgetting that the supreme commander is possibly the most broken character on all the bleachverse fro what we know, his shikai> any bankai showed by all the other captains so far

I’m really hoping this isn’t going in the direction the Espada arc went. None of these throwaway dudes used Vollstandig, did Kubo just forget about it? or are these people they are fighting in SS that weren’t introduced first not capable?

Perhaps those who have died were (over) confident that they could kill the captains easily when they steal their bankais with their own powers or with the bankais that they have stolen, without resorting to vollstandig since iirc is a last resource Power Up, maybe they don’t want to show their better card yet.

Those last 2 panels fucking killed me for some reason.I already knew Old Man Yama wasn’t going to have none of that anyway. Dude showing he had Saskibe’s Bankai just put another nail in the coffin…
So besides As Nodt, Blondy, and BuckBeard, where are the REAL killers? This shit is looking kinda Arrancar Arc-ish. Baddies show up, look good against the small fry, and get Jobbed to hell and back by the Captains… oh and some flashbacks get thrown in there.

Well again, they’re only getting jobbed by Kenpachi and Yamamoto, aka the two people that SHOULD be kicking the shit out of everyone. Keeping that in mind, these new baddies are doing pretty well.
Kubo is just biding time. Giving us filler till real shit starts (which then it will drag out forever.)
