This week’s manga may have finally disproven my long held theory about Yachiru, but I’m still holding on until it’s confirmed. On another note she used her shikai before she called its name.
Yachiru’s shikai is nonsensical.

coz if she did a sideways slash and the length of their swords far outreaches hers and they aren’t standing way behind her then by all accounts V should’ve been beheaded instead of a minor cut on the bridge of his nose.

if you dodge Yachiru attack way prematurely, you dodge muppet shikai manifestation but try step in poking immediately after dodge you get hit by hollow manifestation slice…which prevents punishing her recovery, which is a cool concept but if she doesn’t have major recovery on each sword swing of hers she’s op at least when it comes to kendo/close quarter combat.
Seems only way to beat her is long distance non physical attacks.
Which implies she’s has bankai right? I believe that was said way back when…but I can’t remember
Theoretically you can’t even touch the girl because if you have Sasquatch hollow going first and reacting on instinct. If you somehow get past Sasquatch hollow then you have Yachiru. But it won’t matter because Menos Grande Hollow will cover her to begin with…
She honestly doesn’t have to do shit but just move her arm/sword and let them do the attack. I mean depending on their positioning (and if they’re lined up as they attack, Sash/Yachi/Menos) you wouldn’t be able to get past Sasquatch unless you can read his moves. But if he’s copying what he’s thinking Yachiru will do, it won’t matter cause she may just be a actual kid and change her mind on where to attack/defend/whatever and Menos is there with the actual copycat.
