The problem is, we’re waiting entire weeks for chapters that only progress the story by a few seconds/minutes each.
The one where they got the fake weapons is where I stopped reading. I only picked it up again because I hear this is the final part of the story and was hoping to see some answers to the open questions the story has left. In some ways I have, in others I have not. It’s the only reason I read it every week. But there are ways to keep your audience captivated whether you write this out once a week for years to come or in one fell swoop. I can say, with utmost certainty, that if I had this entire arc in one collection I’d be doing a lot of page skipping because it is obvious he’s only doing it to fill in pages and not tell a story.
It’s just bad writing, even by comic book standards. The guy got his shit pushed in before by fans and cried about it but then he briefly improved. I think his asshole is aching for a reminder.
Which is why the penis thing Ichigo was trying to form is gone already…

Honestly…I’ve got this feeling that while this is the last arc for Bleach, that its setup for Tite to return to it later on. I don’t think Squad Zero is going to lift a finger, I don’t think we’ll see anything relating to Ichigo’s sister or anything.
Those loose ends will remain so, so that if Kubo wants to - he can come back to it with a place holder. Almost like Dragonball…

Where is Kenpachi again? Ichigo went through master lvl royal guard 100x gravity training already? did I miss something? Did we even see it?
Why did Kenpachi not come back and start kicking sternritter ass yet btw? Everyone getting their bankais back removes the relevancy of him never having one and that purpose of his whole character that could have been building up to this since…oh, forever!! You know the whole moment was supposed to be him showing up, somebody trying to take his bankai, and Kenpachi turning the tide of battle. But who knows, he’s the Kenpachi but he got murdered the quincy clone of Juha without any powers =. whatever
Kenpachi is dead. Died off screen so Ichigo could save the day yet again.
Kenpachi comes into battle with a different looking sword. a Quincy thinks it’s his bankai and tries stealing it. NOPE! Kenpachi slices through his throat.
Kenpachi comes riding into battle on a unicorn. Then starts to proceed to stab everybody to death… with his dick.
Kenpachi comes in one panel; every other panel is the background except the last one that says “next time on Dragon Ball Z…”
Kenpachi is beating those dead unohana cheeks before he makes his climactic entrance
However kenpachi comes it will be amazing

Kenpachi is probably training his shikai and will be on his way soon, I doubt he will have bankai immediately when he shows up. He will probably beat a lot of the sternritters and then 1 will show up to body his business and then at the last possible moment he will learn/gain bankai and become godlike and then Juha Bach will show up and body him and then before dying ichigo saves his ass and makes Bach Look free. Then Uryu will get his runback with Ichigo for the manga to then go away for good. Then niggas will get in the bed and bang they chicks and as they bust there loads yell BANKAI!!!
