Amagai was kinda dope. I think it’s hilarious that his bankai was revealed before damned near every good captain’s lol.
When you’re a filler character, everything gets revealed because you’re filler.
Is there a chapter coming out this week? I know usually when naruto isn’t coming out bleach is soon to follow or is out aswell?
There was gonna be a chapter,but it revealed how Aizen’s Bankai works and thus Aizen planned that this week’s chapter wont be released.

Long story short. Losing the Bankais? ALL ACCORDING TO PLAN
which makes no sense, if you were planning on stealing them and its better for you to not have them then why bother stealing them at all?
Only thing that I can think of is that they wanted to get the zero squad involved for some future purpose.
You gotta remember quincies destroy hollows,and now the bankais that were stolen are hollowfied…you get the picture. Maybe aizen was smarter trying to find a way to transcend shinigami/hollow by fusing their powers.
Having the bankai downgrades the quincies. Losing the bankai significantly cripples the captains. So it did make sense to steal them.
This battle is getting real DBZ right now…
As it stands, it seems the quincies were more powerful than the captains whether or not they stole the bankai or not. But this is shonen logic, don’t reveal your trump card too early. Which is why ichigo and kenpachi still haven’t arrived on the scene yet.
Because while it’s better for them to not have them, it’s still a good strategic move to rob your enemies of their best abilities for however long a time. Remember how hard they spent training their non-Bankai abilities? Well that time would’ve been spent honing their Bankais even more which would’ve made the war a bit tougher.
For all intensive purposes the characters who lost their Bankais aren’t going to be any stronger than they were originally and Bach knows they should be able to take them. He stunted the growth of the strongest people in Soul Society (Kenpachi notwithstanding, not that they could stunt his growth) to make the war easier. Plus it’s not like they didn’t attempt to kill the people they stole the Bankais from. The fact that Byakuya is still alive is a miracle.
I’ll break it down more.
-Bach knows that the first assault is on limited time but they’ll be back later for all out war.
-Gets the Bankais stolen, thus stunting the growth and strength of SS’s best warriors if they’re not able to outright kill them in the limited assault.
-Now focus is less towards the Sternritter’s abilities but towards their stolen Bankais.
-They’re gone for a week, the people they stole the Bankais from can’t get any fundamentally stronger than they already were with Bankai.
-War now begins.
-If the Captains can’t get their Bankais back they’ve already won a good amount of fights quite easily.
-If the Captains DO get their Bankai back, they aren’t any stronger than before and the Sternritter are now granted the ability to fight at full power.

This is the perfect time for kenpachi to spoil the party. No quincy will be able to handle his bankai. So is bazz b about to finish the job or did he leave?
