yeah… that gets really annoying. I far prefer the way it goes down in naruto more, where by the ability is generally explained by the opponent as they figure it out, or it’s explained to the reader in a flashback so as to have the reader know information the characters don’t. In hitsu’s case just a really fast flashback of him and matsumoto working on that combination attack.

I actually think that this is the opportunity for Kubo to trim a lot of characters by killing them and let the plot move to a point where the Quincies Conquer SS, maybe even explore what can happen if SS is not under the control of the Shinigamis anymore.
But that requires Kubo to waste more black ink and actually do more chapters. I don’t think that’s in the plan…
At this rate, Kira will come back alive cause good guy Kubo not allowing good guys not named Gin to die even after losing half their bodies.
