As for the chapter, is too bad that a character like Soi Fon who i actually like design wise is so shitty when it comes to the story, like common bitch, you are a ninja assassin, why don’t you act like one?
Why didn’t you use your goddamn broken shikai to hit that motherfucker twice when he didn’t know you were there? Now you will be fucked up to infinity due those motherfuckers using their quincy hax abilities.
Also i understand that is part of the narrative, to let the characters explain their abilities to their audience, but it can become quite jarring when it happens this way, where everyone lacks any form of common sense or pragmatism

I remember that Rurouni Kenshin did it in a better way, kinda, it was one spectator who explained what was happening to other, or in the case of the Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki, it was Hiko explaining it to Kaoru on the Aoya while Kenshin was fighting against Sishio.

I’ve seen Black Star from Soul Eater show more stealth. Sure, got to the scene with speed and style. Once she gets on the scene, what does she do? I’M HERE!!! Her Shikai in particular is a GREAT one for someone who has stealth. Shank em’ twice and they die? Lovin’ it. :tup: Too bad she don’t do it very well.

But we’ve already established that most Captains are jobbers. Outside of Shunsui, Ukitake(who jobs to TB), Kenpachi, and Mayuri, all the rest have all lost in incredibly stupid ways or just straight up got schooled.
Byakuya hasn’t lost? Only to Ichigo and then the Quincy last. Unless you’re talking about last time, where he stupidly used bankai (as did every captain).
Edit: yeah, last time. Have Renji use bankai, dammit. His sucks and was literally broken at the time.
That’s why Byakuya is jobber status now. You KNEW that these fools are stealing Bankais and instead of letting your Vice-captain(who is the king of jobbers) use his lame Bankai, you use yours and give the enemy an incredible tool to use against you and the rest of Soul Society… SMH.

If a Quincy stole Renji’s bankai, it would have been a downgrade for them.
They thought that they sealed the bankais, not that they could stole it.
Also, what else they can do, the 3 captainst who used their bankai were the 3 less experienced captains over all, also is not like they can use anything of their other abilities against enemies that can overpower them if they dont use their bankais, kido is useless against quicies since is made of reiatsu, the same for everything on SS.
If their only chance of winning is using bankai then something is wrong and Old man Yamamoto fucked up training these captains.
