You do have a point as Ichigo’s resolve does affect his reiatsu as shown against Yammy with his Hollow mask and Bach just mindfucked him right there with his mother’s info but even with the resolve factor, that’s pretty impressive.

It’s honestly very easy to say that Ichigo didn’t have a shot despite powerlevels, and in a ‘square’ situation, not only would his bankai not have been broken, bu it would have been an actual FIGHT (since we don’t know dudes actual strength, the less you know, the more goku-like they are, so I can’t say anything about Ichi ‘winning’ - but judging by what we’ve seen, it would def be a fight.
Also, someone is a snitch, but I wonder who…the Q’s know WAY too much about what’s been going on in SS
